Carousel Cleaners

Took about 10 days for drapes to be cleaned and pressed. Decent job, no issues with the cleaning, but disappointed how much more it cost to have them cleaned here than elsewhere. Would have been nice if they actually had a price list posted. My fault for not confirming prior to getting job done, lesson learned.

$122 the dry cleaning didn't remove the stains from my bedding. To be fair, they repeated the process for me, although it didn't work, and i only received a $6 discounted for an ineffective processSo, in the end, I paid the full price for items that weren't cleaned. I took the items home and simply cleaned them with oxiclean, and all the stains that were deemed 'impossible to remove' disappeared within a moment. The only reason they are getting a second star is that they tried to rewash after the initial cleaning not working. However, to get the second attempt, I have to very clearly voice my concerns after they tried to send me home the items at full price.Don't get your items cleaned here if you have any stains that actually need to be removed.

One of not that many places which provides with pick up and delivery service, the best option for me. I like the convenience of managing everything by using the company’s app, so you don’t even need to call anyone. The prices are higher that usual dry cleaning, but it worth it.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Carousel. Which is such a shame because they use to be my go to for any item that is extremely delicate and requires extra care. Im not sure if management had switched or what not, but things are a lot more disorganized and take way longer than it use to. I dropped off a pre-loved wedding dress in for a cleaning, I just needed it cleaned so that it could be modified and worn for my future wedding. I was told that it would take up to 4 weeks to clean and would cost approximately $900?! But, it would require an examination and I would be contacted with a quote before they went ahead with it . 4 weeks go by, and I hear nothing. At which point, I decided to go pick it up and just take it to another vendor. Upon pick up, their wedding dress specialist comes and talks to me, apologizes and informs me that she didn’t even know that the dress was there. She brings it out, and at this point I’m ready to just take it away, but she convinces to stay so that she can examine it, and then brings the manager. They go on a huge spiel, apologize and say that they were the founders and leaders in eco cleaning for BC. And that they could clean it for me within 1.5 weeks for the cost of $250 and would throw in the steam and freshening up of the dress prior to my wedding. At this point, I had found another vendor who is closer to where I lived for $190. Because they were willing to follow up with a freshening up and steam prior to the steam, I inquired how long it would take and how much time they would need so I could get it back from my alterationist etc. She insured me that she would have turnaround within 72hrs. Fair enough, fine. So I agreed. I leave the dress there for cleaning with the assurance that it would be ready for me to take away in 1.5 weeks. 1.5 weeks go by, the day approaches for me to pick up, and I hear nothing ( I was suppose to pick up on a Friday). No problem, I’m going to be in the neighbourhood on Monday, I’ll pick it up then. Monday rolls around, almost end of day still nothing. So I swing by. The poor girl helping was having a helluva time finding my dress and told me that it was cleaned, just not steamed. Every tag that is issued by the cleaners inside my dress said “rush”, “pick up by this date” etc. Their reasoning for not being ready was because it needed to go through their specialist before it got steamed. Their specialist wasn’t even there to be able to do the inspection for me. At this point, I just wanted my dress back. It was guaranteed to me that I could pick it up by Friday. They had an additional day and a half, no communication. I’m annoyed at this point. And waiting 45mins for them to find my dress, clear up the confusion etc. ANOTHER manager comes down to apologize and offered to steam my dress for free after I get it altered. (Something that was already arranged) I explain that at this point I don’t trust them to complete the job and to prep my dress in the time for my wedding because they didn’t deliver on their promise twice now. I took my dress and left, and am now torn of whether or not I should put my trust in them to complete on our arrangement. All they could do was apologize and didn’t offer anything else additional. $250 + tax and a lot of time wasted.I’m mostly disappointed in the fact that they spent a lot of time convincing me and selling me on the trust that they could deliver in the time that they set, and little to no communication was made unless it came from me directly. Because every email i got was an automatic one.

Was looking for a high- end, hassle free dry cleaning experience and that is exactly what my experience was. I had dropped off a large pile of dress clothes that had been in storage for years and I was shocked at the condition they were able to revive them to. The turn around time was very quick- less than a few days and I would highly recommend carousel cleaners to anyone looking for a professional experience with quality results.
