Their rate are outrageous. $560 for just over 24 hours being there. Towed not even 5 minutes from where it was.

They were punctual professional not to mention the best option and price new trucks skilled driver extremely presentable and professional it was a heavy tow even checked up on me to make sure I made it the rest of the way all right. Couldn't recommend them any better if I tried. As far as all of the shity ratings go I'm pretty sure it's because people are whiny

I was stuck in a bad way with my stock trailer (I had a steer in it) and my pickup on a icy hill, I called united. Colin was my driver he was professional, courteous and very fast. The cost was reasonable in my opinion, I was hesitant to call them because of the reviews they have received. But the reality of it is, it costs money to run a business like this it’s not free to buy, fuel, or insure those trucks. Keep up the good work, and stay safe guys! Thank you.

Towing driver was great and helpful and concerned about my bike. (great job operator) But the problem was the estimate was for 600.00 which is not an issue with the location (135 Km) but when we arrived at our destination final bill $975.49 just a small error on the office or greed. 30% difference. Open and up front would be nice. (invoice break down: 125 hookup, 4.35 per km, 75 flat deck, 18 % fuel surcharge142.66) 142.66 fuel for 270 km Average Diesel Price in Alberta 1.24 per liter. At 5 liters per 100 would be 66.96 . Fuel Surcharge was to supplement not gouge.

Inflated costs. Gong show. Use Big Hill or Daves. Unprofessional to deal with. In loose terms.... don't ring their bell.

31km and they charged me $580, unbelievable.I had an other towing campany from Calgary, one hour drive from Calgary to Crochane and back. They only charged me $250！ UNITED are ripping you off at your weakest !

Having many trucks we use for work we understand the cost of diesel. Charging us at a rate of using $275 an hour for fuel cost is classless. Already a dispatch/call out charge of $126 totally fair as we are in the furnace business and get that. If we end up doing work we wave the call out fee… standard practice. then 2 hours to get it out…. At $250 an hr . Then the 23% of $571 of fuel is what really upset me. I should have skipped trade school! I think I have left maybe 1 or 2 reviews in my life. I let this sit for a few weeks and it still think this was crazy. I’m a big fan of word of mouth and repeat customers. I would rather freeze in a snow bank than use these guys again. Merry Xmas and happy new year.

This place is as crooked as the cops they work with its a scandalous money grab they have going on they pick on innocent citizens and tourists harrassing and profiling based on assumptions not facts. I was told of I didn't give the driver my keys it would cost more to tow it and then my paperwork doesn't list that I gave my keys to him. I have a broken arm and a cat plus my two suitcases and a large moving box with cat food litter etc , no money at all, I don't know anyone here to call and have a place to stay I'm fleeing a very abusive relationship to another province and the tow truck company and RCMP left me penniless on the side of the 1A highway less than an hour away from my abusive ex . While I was frantically trying to gather what I needed the driver says laughing take what you need because each time you come to get anything from the car its an additional $100 . I was towed because they wouldn't accept my temporary insurance registration and licence from BC . It's now been six days I have been walking around Cochrane no food no shelter no shower no money and early this morning my cat ran off scared when the train went by and I havent been able to find him since ! Where is all the decent people at? Certainly not with this company or this detachment. Two thumbs down !

Super service during a tough time!!!! Our tow truck driver Jonny was awesome and came to our rescue when our car caught fire on the highway on our way to Calgary from Canmore. He sure knows his stuff and while being very professional, he made the trip fun and took our minds off the situation. Thank you United Towing, would recommend to anyone when in need.
