Have loved this place my whole life, but I never had the chance to eat there. I finally did, and it was well worth the wait!!Comfort Canadian food. Been around since 1945. Love it!!

Excellent service! The staff was very attentive and friendly! The price is affordable and there’s a big variety of food. We ordered sandwiches and poutine. The food was delicious and the portions were enough. I highly recommend this place :)

We were looking for an outdoor patio to enjoy breakfast. Weather was great so we walked from Hotel Pur to L'Antiquaire. (10 min. walk)Seated outside, we ordered coffee and I ordered the Special Antiquaire"

Fantastic vibe! Good service and food, and quite affordable considering the location. We had lunch , it was packed but luckily managed a table without having a reservation. Picture is classic egg benediction

Dog friendly outdoor seating, unlike the restaurant next door. A 15 minute wait to be seated, but it was so worth it. We sat in the shade, and had one of the best breakfasts ever. Prices are very reasonable. Try the cochonne if you're really hungry.

Understaffed when we visited, so had to wait a while but their service was nice. Liked the soup. Also wanted to try some of dessert items but most of them were not available. Nice interior

Breakfast foods cooked by order, not a BUFFET in American sense. Tucked in a strip mall with large sidewalk in a super gentrified neighborhood of downtown Quebec City. Price is on expensive end of breafast food style, depends on the dish.We ordered 4 unique dished that called for traditional Quebec/French flavors (see pictures)Taste is humble and comfort. The patê piece is good, onion soup is on the sweet side. Mashed potatoes tasted more like from the box, so i recommend order french fried instead, they are much fresher.Food took really long time to come.Staff were accomodating and are bilingual.The cashier lady was rude, literally grabbed my ticket, punched in amount and gave me the machine to peep my card on, NO eye contacts, NO hello/bonjour or merci at all, despite my effort in interacting and appreciating their service. From this place's reviews in the past, it might be because I'm Asian with a neutral French accent.Demographics on that visit day: Mainly tourists from North American and European countries.

Great authentic food. Diner atmosphere. The smoked meat poutine and eggs Benedict are both recommended. Don't miss the Pounding Chomfore ( cake in a maple sauce and ice cream)Be aware, this is in the lower city and is quite an uphill hike to the castle after eating

Single handedly the BEST diner style breakfast I have had in a decade. The Brunch plate came with eggs, bacon, ham, meat pie (super yum), toast, skillet fried potatoes and tomatoes. My breakfast partner had a poutine… that I could not help myself from trying. This is the epitome and Cadillac of a “Quebec style poutine”. Rich, flavorful brown gravy on top of squeaky curd cheese and home cut French fries.I KNOW we will be back! If you’re looking for an old fashion diner style breakfast, look no further. This IS the place.

Came here on a recommendation from our tour guide and because of all the positive reviews. However, I really don’t understand what all the fuss is about. The service was very slow, the waitress got our order wrong, and the food was subpar. I’d recommend skipping this one.
