CIBC Branch (Cash at ATM only)

No tailor, on the door said that its open until 7pm on Thursdays but came to the closing door at 5:50, its a joke not a bank

You have the right to cash your Government of Canada cheque at any bank for free, even if you’re not a customer. Is the law for evwry one not only poor and disabled. Yet I was refused and escorted out. Despicable trying to make money off ppl who live on bare minimum check to check

One of the best banking services I received in the last few years! All the staff is courteous and polite. They took time to discuss my needs and review available products. Besides that I was offered a coffee and a comfortable couch to sit on after my appointment, so I can do my personal emails and online errands. All other customers who were there were also treated with the same level of courtesy. I am not sure why they had low rating reviews in the past, but the branch now definitely made great improvements. Highly recommend this branch to anyone using CIBC!

Visited twice and never going back to this branch lack of customer support 1st visit teller didn't want to deposit my check into my account prompted me to the atm, I needed a phone to make a phonecall was told phones were for banking services only. Second visit teller tells me there will be a hold on my check so I politely told her nevermind and she prompted to offer me credit report to reduce amount on hold of check, I'm very furious if it weren't for paying my bills I'd close this account right now

Have been with CIBC for many years and by far this is the most pathetic branch I have ever been to when it comes to service.1. the renovations last year have left the layout of the building confusing.2. EVERY TIME I go in, the person (usually a woman) working the front desk doesn't greet, and 9/10 times is quite rude.3. Upon going into cash cheques, I will go in and get directed to an ATM, unless I want to open an account, i am automatically just directed towards the ATM.4. despite being the only customer in the building you will still wait 15+ minutes for service.This location is the closest to my house, the next closest location is an extra 18 minute drive.It takes less time to drive to the further location, cash my cheque, and get home than it does from this location.The only positive to using this location is the dollar store next door so you can buy snacks for the wait you'll be doing at the bank.

One star is enough to explain. Really just one cashier in first of the month.Longest I waited in line in a bank in my entire life extremely. I've payment statements for my family but she didn't know how to do it then I waiting for horrible service still, there is no person to follow it.

Was unable to do a normal task and said i should go to another cibc instead of trying to fix the problem

Went it to complete a couple larger transactions requiring a teller. Bank is CLOSED on Mondays for their “New hours”. Will definitely be switching banks as the next nearest branch is 20 minutes from here.
