I had a really good experience at this location recently. I went in to buy stain for my deck. I have never stained a deck before and the employee who helped me was very friendly and was able to answer all of my questions. Cashiers were also very friendly.

A bit expensive, but they have just about anything you might need. Better lumber than at home depot, although the price for that lumber will reflect that as well. 1x6 Fence boards are about double the price you'd pay on the orange big box store.

I was very disappointed with my experience at this Home Hardware location. I ordered an item because it was not in stock. The item was tagged at $279.99 and the order receipt I was given stated the price of $279.99. The order came in within around five days and when I picked it up and paid for it, they charged me $299.99. When I tried to have the amount corrected, the store manager said he would do nothing about it. I found him to be rude in his response and disinterest in correcting the price. He said the price went up"...so I was expected to now pay more for a stock item that wasn't in stock. The price I agreed to when I put the order in

Thank you to Dan and the entire team from United Home Hardware. I spent many days coming to the store for product and advice and everyone top to bottom were extremely helpful and kind on this DIY-er. We built a deck for my parents and did some light renos/repairs and United had our back the entire way. Thank you all!
