Kaslo Hotel & Pub

We stayed 2 nights in a king-suite. The room was immaculate and bed very comfortable. I was impressed with the high ceilings, spaciousness, and general decor, not to mention the large patio that looked towards the lake & mountains. Despite being on the ground floor near the kitchen, I found it much quieter than I thought it would be.The pub was very busy our first night but we enjoyed our delicious meal. Servers were working very hard & deserve many kudos.I look forward to returning!

We had the king room and it was fantastic. Super comfortable, huge balcony overlooking the lake and park where there was some live music when we got there. The hot tub is outside on a private deck and is an extra treat. Would definitely recommend for a little mountain getaway.

We had lunch and it was delicious and well prepared. Staff was super friendly and the patio was great!

Wonderful dinner with excellent service. Food was delicious and came out quickly even though the restaurant was pretty full. Only complaint is that it was a little loud, however with all those excited heli-skiers sharing in their day's adventures it's understandable.

We ate at the restaurant, waypoint in the hotel and it was fantastic! Menu was unexpected with menu items. Ambiance was quiet & comfortable. Staff were excellent. Food was delicious. Would definitely recommend anyone to experience this place.

This place is an experience you won’t want to miss. The atmosphere and views are second to none. My food was excellent as well.

Just had lunch there, but the location was perfect with great views of the lake. Great food selection. The chicken sandwich special with the house garden was excellent, very filling. Hope to spend a couple of nights there in the near future.

Restaurant is not great. Worst poutine in the Kootenays. Disgusting gravy. Honestly tasted like cold grits gravy from a old diner in the deep South. Very poor salads. If I was a helicopter skier in from Japan or the US and ate here while on a Stellar Heli Ski package, I'd question if they make food this poor if they can find snow as well. Won't be returning as a local. Inside vibe is decent. It's the food that turned me off.

We ate at the pub/restaurant (the menu is very large for a pub). The patio was nice but the bistro tables and chairs were very uncomfortable. The menu was large and prices are high. Great beer selection, I had a flight. Calamari was very tasty. They were out of several items include pulled pork, butter chicken, and schnitzel. My husband enjoyed the mushroom burger and i liked my salmon (although it still had skin on one side and I don't really like that.) The worst part of the meal was that we ordered a kids meal which didn't come at the same time as our meals. Not too bad but the waitress checked on us over 10 minutes later and it still hadn't come, it was apparently 'forgotten' under the hot lamps. We were not very happy with that and they did remove it from our bill (our son basically filled up on my husbands french fries.) Not a great experience, but not bad either. Maybe just not the best day. We probably won't be back. There are some great places to check out in this neat little town!

Upon a recommendation, we stopped here for lunch while staying nearby (not at the hotel).Food was delicious, service was fast and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy.
