Charlie came to clean our log burners & chimneys this morning. He was efficient and tidy and happy to give us some safety & maintenance advice as well. Thoroughly nice chap, I would definitely recommend.

Got hold of Charlie on Sunday and he was here on Wednesday! He didn't complain even though access to the chimney isn't straightforward. He cleaned the glass and re-roped the doors of the woodburner and hoovered up far more mess than he had made! Bonus that he gave me a delicious recipe for smoked haddock in cream and cheese! I would recommend him to anyone.

I moved into a new home, in mid-November, that had no heating other than two wall mounted electric heaters and a multi fuel stove. The previous property owner left me no information regarding when the chimney was last swept so, for obvious reasons, I didn't want to light it.The house had been empty for some time and the outside temperature was dropping so, I set about calling Chimney Sweeps.I must have called at least 14 Sweeps over two hours and was told by all that answered, or returned my calls, that they were busy for weeks in advance so, couldn't help.I'd resigned myself to accepting the earliest date offered, the 15th December when, at tea time Charlie returned my call and having listened to my predicament, said he would make an early start the following morning and come to me before 8am.I cannot thank Charlie enough for his kindness and for going the extra mile.Charlie is friendly, polite, professional and has a terrific sense of humourIf you're looking a Chimney Sweep, I can highly recommend Charlie

Very friendly, professional service. Quick and efficient, with minimal mess despite our awkward chimney hatch arrangement! Charlie was also perfectly happy with the nosy dogs trying to 'help', which is always a bonus. Would certainly recommend, and will be using again in future.
