El Dorado Pie & Treats

There is a large selection of empanadas here, both savory and sweet. I tried the chicken as well as the mango pie. Both were very tasty. The crust was nice and flaky.

What a treat! Anytime there's a chicken curried pie or curried pie, I'm there. Came to the Lonsdale Quay to graze and had already bought a roll at a Vietnamese place but then came across this amazing place -- the women are from Peru (I think? ) and sell empanadas and decided to also make meat pies because, not much of a leap, right? and the crust and filling were perfect. The pictured pie is about three inches across and perfect handfood. Go there if you like meat in crust! (not that the veggie options didn't look delicious -- and i understand only now that they have sweets, too. Just as well I didn't know). And the view is unbeatable, especially if the weather was as nice as it was on that day...

I'm always on the hunt for a legit empanada. I first experienced them in Chile 2.5 decades ago. The the beef empanadas that I had here brought me right back! The saltiness the olives and the egg. Perfection!

It has the potential of been good but unfortunately the empanada didn’t feel fresh and it was warm up on the microwave so the dough was to soft

Such a pleasant surprise! We loved Inca and chicken empanadas. The crust was perfect and the filling was rich in flavor and so good. Perfect quick on the go snack.The lady serving was so kind and friendly. We loved and appreciated her recommendations and the home made sauce served with the empanadas was delicious.
