After purchasing our home we hired Michel Wolf to build out a kitchen for our secondary suite and make repairs to the existing deck. It seemed like a fairly straight forward project that we expected would take a couple months. Upon opening up walls and ceilings we quickly learned that the project would get more complicated due to some uncovered dry rot . Michel was able to remove the damaged wood and make the necessary repairs at a fair price to keep project moving ahead.Maintenance of the house by prior owner was seriously neglected and we intended to gradually make necessary improvements over time. Michel abilities, however, led us to make the decision to have Michel to proceed with the other work. This included the replacement of the large dilapidated wood deck with a new yellow cedar deck with hidden fasteners, remodeling of bathrooms, electrical upgrades, replacement of windows at various locations, new roofing with custom flashing, dry rot repairs found a several other locations, siding replacement where needed, coordination for new septic system and installation of new cistern tied to the existing well, and many other needed improvements.
