Gloria's Alterations

I cannot say enough good things about Gloria's Alterations! They took my dress that had been destroyed by another place and they completely fixed it, all within a week due to a wedding time crunch. I came in so upset and stressed, and they were amazing! I will definitely be a repeat customer. She fixed all of the mistakes that the other tailor did, and the dress looks absolutely fantastic!

I hate to leave a one star but I am very very disappointed with the service. Got my jeans hemmed had to bring them back in 2 times cause it was not closed off on the hem leaving holes on the inside for it to fall apart and costed 26 dollars for a poor job, the hem line is not straight at all, just got home and now noticed where they “fixed” the hem the material is bunched up so it also looks funny now. Poor customer service bring it else where! They said it’s because they’re busy which I understand but when providing a service that someone is paying you for it needs to be done correctly. Basically gave money for it needing to be re done else where.

Gloria altered two pairs of jeans for me last week. She was friendly, warm and charming. The pants were done as promised, and on time, and fit great. Excellent work. I will return. Thank you, Gloria!

Very poor customer service! I asked them to give me a plastic bag or any bag to put my dress in because i forgot to bring one, but the lady firmly and rudely said “NO” as if she’s not talking to a customer

If I could give zero stars I would... We have used Gloria's a fair bit in the past for various alterations. However we can very safely say that we will never be back. We brought her a brand new pair of silk PJ pants to be hemmed and when we went to pick them up, the pants had visible burn marks on them from an iron. We talked with Gloria and she agreed to give the money back for the garment so long as we brought in the matching top so that she could have full possession of the garment. We went back a few days later and brought in the matching top and then she went back on her word and blamed the marks on body lotion?? When the garment was brand new and never worn? Piss poor business owner and obviously values $60 for a garment over 2 customers who have used her business for years. We will be taking our business elsewhere where we are appreciated as customers and our garments will be worked on by people who actually know how to perform their jobs competently.

Gloria was amazing to work with. She made time to make last-minute alterations for my dress. I was literally in tears calling various places with no luck, and luckily, my husband sent me her number. Convenient location as well! I was very happy with my dress, it gave me a curvy figure and had many compliments!Thank you so so much from the bottom of my heart, Gloria!

I have an Afo prosthetic. I found Gloria and she saw that I was walking poorly and that my prosthetic had been damaged. She immediately went to work repairing the worn strap making it stronger than before all the while helping me to go back to my normal routines. She has a wonderful heart and ability unmatched. Thank you so much. It feels better than when it was first built.

I purchased a down winter jacket that arrived with a cut in it. I dropped in on a busy Friday afternoon and spoke with Dabi. She was so friendly and helpful! The material of the jacket and placement of the cut made it impossible to patch or sew back together. Dabi was able to seal the cut with glue right on the spot, she saved the jacket and did an amazing job. I am a very happy customer.

My crazy dog has a tendency to tear up my leather jacket, and Gloria got that fixed up good, and it even seems stronger now. But, I still assume that I'll be back again for the same thing, and I'll be bringing it back to her!

The sweetest person you will ever meet! Gloria did my dress alterations and made me feel so special during the fitting and after! Everyone loved my dress! I went back to see her after my event to thank her and show her photos. Such amazing service!
