I had an amazing experience today at this branch despite the initial confusion.Miss Coleen solved my issue quickly and efficiently by referring me to Mr. Kumar who gave me clear answers and solutions.Mr. Kumar is a true expert in his field. Thank you both.

Just wanted to shout out Colleen at the main counter. I had a vehicle sale I was doing and required a lot of their time to get it all done and she was quick and knew what she was doing. Had all the answers to my questions and even printed paper work for us. Very helpful, thanks Colleen!

On more than one occasion I have tried to make an abm deposit and it failed. First time I was able to recover the money with ease and was impressed with their services. Second time around I was transferred to over 5 different departments and received no help. It’s like no one knew how to do the one job they had!!! Overall very disappointed with my experience and thinking of leaving the bank. Any alternative ideas?

I had not used my account in a very long time, prety much since i opened it. My father passed away last year, and one of the investment companies him and i had a joint account with were refusing his death certificate because it was in spanish. Even tho global affaires canada said its still a legal document, and should be accepted.. So for over a year i've been jumping threw hoops with them.I needed a direct deposit form. i tried calling the local branch because i wasnt feeling well (sore throat). I was hoping to send my partner in with my ids, and card with me on the phone. But calling the number to the local branch online only takes you to their national support, which is pretty frustrating. The person at national gave me some extension numbers which i tried and didnt work. It took about 3 or 4 phone calls before i was transferred to the local branch. I also gave my banking information over the phone, so it would of been really cool if someone had mentioned then that my account had been closed..So they had to transfer me directly. Nobody answered so i left a message. I was pretty frustrated at this point, i didnt swear but i know u could hear i was agitated when i left my message. Which i felt extremely guilty and ashamed of, i know customer service isnt an easy job.My partner convinced me to go in because i really needed to get to the bottom of this. i whole heartedly regret that because they were closing soon, and i feel like its rude to go in anywhere half hour before closing. Like i said, i did have a sore throat. I wore my mask and everything but the gentleman came out and asked if it was me who left the message. I said yes and apologized and offered to leave, 3 times.. But he said it was okay, but went on to tell me how it wasnt. ( ive been tested i dont have covid). Then he told me my account had been closed due to inactivity. I asked if i could open a new account and he said no, they were closing soon and i should go back to my previous bank and bank with them instead.I'am truly very sorry for leaving an aggravated message. I'm very ashamed of myself for that. It was just frustration from everything. Altho Scotia's telephone banking / support does suck lol. But it would of been nice if i was told over the phone the account had been closed, recieved a call back, or pulled to the side instead of embarrassed infront of the entire bank when i was apologizing and offering to leave, just to be told its okay shamed, and essentially kicked out.. i tried to take proper precautions because i was experiencing a sore throat, but i've been tested and i do not have covid. im sorry for my part. I would of preferred to reaching out and talking to the person individually and clearing it all up with them. but like i said the local number only goes to national support, and i dont have the dude's extension number soo yeah. Ok i'm done, my apologies and have a good day to who ever is reading this.

I would give zero stars.Scotiabank in general continues to implement policies that increase their own profits and ignore basic customer needs. The Scotiabank experience is endless waiting on phone for pathetic customer service, steadily increasing fees, reduced hours at branches, ATMs unavailable after hours or out of order, poorly trained staff, and general contempt for customers. Most recently, I was refused a cash withdrawal unless I provided multiple forms of identification. I had already given my bank card and security code, and had been with Scotia for many years. I refused to comply with their unjustified intrusion into my own security and privacy. The teller refused to get a manager and told me to go ATM for my cash. I submitted a complaint online and later received a very rude call from the branch manager. That was the final straw.Since then I have switched to Servus Credit Union. WOW, what a difference. Servus employs knowledgeable, professional and helpful staff. Policies and rates are much, much better and I feel like a valued client.

One of my worst experiences at Scotiabank so far, Was there today to make a deposit and ask an important question to cover a late payment also the teller didn’t know what time NSF fees take place, They were able to get me a financial advisor quickly and were nice at the beginning but once we got into Kumar’s office things changed quickly one of the female tellers came into our office butted in mid conversation then being rude saying I’m wasting their time and such, Then shortly after she left the office Kumar received an email on screen that was visible to myself saying HE IS WASTING YOUR TIME TO NOT HELP ME FURTHERKumar one of the financial advisors didn’t do anything to resolve what just happened, Then we ended things there and i left pretty disappointed, i’m actually disappointed at this Scotiabanks customer service today at this Locationinteractions like this one make me want to switch Banks and not recommend Scotiabank any furtheri rate this interaction a 2/10 todayAs a google Local guide level 6i strongly don’t recommend that you don’t go to this Location for the reasons stated aboveReview made on August 2nd/10:58am/2022

As a business owner you expect always that your bank backs you up.The most important thing about running a company is having a team, that is efficient, experienced and reliable on the financial side. This branch offers this service which is key to anyone and much more. Putting their effort, their name and their passion on the line for you and your business.I personally highly recommend this branch, The manager and his team are exceptional when it comes on solving an issue, even when is external to them.Thank you very much for the efficiency and professionalism offered to us!
