Island Oral Facial And Implant Surgery

I have never had any type of surgery before , so I was very very nervous for my wisdom teeth removal , but the entire staff treated me so well! From the moment I walked in the door the receptionist Kelsey was so funny and nice and made me feel at ease. Erin (the nurse) and Dr.Piemontesi we’re so so kind. They went above and beyond in my opinion , never for a moment did I feel scared or nervous. The dental assistant hadden was very kind and gentle and made me feel very safe the entire time! 10/10 recommend :)

My daughter had her wisdom teeth pulled in April. She's had 3 infections since. Bone was left behind. Would not recommend

So happy with the service this clinic provides! Once my referral was received, Amber (the referral coordinator) heard I was in a lot of pain and got me in next day! Tamra and Shauna in reception were able to squeeze my surgery in the next 2 weeks! So incredibly thankful. These ladies are amazing. Highly recommend

In September 2019 I had a bi-maxillary Osteotomy performed by Dr. Sansalone. I just recently got my braces off and can see the change in all its glory! I met with Dr. Sansalone several times leading up to the surgery and he helped me feel very comfortable about the procedure. He was direct and to the point about every detail, and I was able to ask any questions I had. I felt as comfortable as I could feel during this whole process. He did an incredible job, and I trusted him along every step of the way. His team worked seamlessly with Ocean's Edge Orthodontics to streamline the whole process.I was happy with my service in the office, and especially with the commitment Dr. Sansalone had to my health and well being. Thanks to his recommendations and guidance, I had a very speedy recovery and was back in school nine days later!

One of my worst experiences. 2 doctors in this office, Dr Olynik and another Im not sure of the name of messed up my mouth. Each Doctor killed a front tooth of mine. When I had an appliance put in my mouth, waking up I immediately knew something was wrong and told a nurse. She told me that it was normal and everything was fine. On the way home my mom saw the appliance was falling out. They couldn't do anything for me except cut out the appliance. I then went home with a damaged mouth but no benefits for the reason I had the surgery. We later found out that he disrupted the front root of the neighbouring tooth.In another surgery the other Doctor nicked the root of my tooth and now I have to get another surgery to fix the stuff that he messed up. I have to lose 4 of my main front teeth that I would have been able to keep if I had not gone to these doctors.Needless to say my experience here was awful. I have to get another surgery and downright refused to go to this office again. Thousands of dollars were wasted and trauma was created in this office for no good reason.

Wonderful staff and service. I was super nervous to get my wisdom teeth extracted at the age of 32. The team made the whole process so stress free for me. Dr. Sansalone was patient and always address any questions or concerns I have. The post-op care was wonderful as well. They fit me into same day appointments when I have some pain. The front desk staff always greeted me with my name even before I walk through the door. Highly recommend!

Excellent Oral Surgeon’s. I had Dr. Sansalone, Excellent, 2 teeth removed, had iv sedation, didn't feel/ remember a thing. And no pain or issues post op. I highly recommend this Dentist practice.

Dr. Pemontesi did a surgery to my son, and he is professional and confident doctor. He is very nice also , and he gives the time to ask and answer your questions. I am so happy from the results and my son is happy too.

Got my wisdom teeth removed, and was beyond nervous to be completely honest. But the staff were amazing. Had a great conversation to calm my nerves and were very attentive when I woke up. Would recommend the entire team to everyone in need of dental work.

Sat in the waiting room for more than an hour past our scheduled appointment but the staff were sure to let us know it was OUR fault they forgot us. Very frustrating lack of respect for patients. Be prepared for unprofessional front end staff. Dr. Sansaloni was courteous and professional though.
