I love Hollywoof! The staff are always so kind and very knowledgeable. Every time I come, my corgi always looks great and smells amazing!What I appreciate the most is the staff are happy to teach you about getting your dog used to grooming by providing some training tips and tricks. Also, if you are ever confused about what kind of brush you should get - don't hesitate to ask them! They are happy to provide details as to what kind of brush you should use for your dog.

We bring our mini American Eskimo here and we’re guilty of not grooming him regularly. This salon does not make us feel bad for that and does not try to loop us into coming every 6 weeks like others have in the past. Joka, who’s one of the owners there, always does such an amazing job on our dog. Our dog literally goes in looking homeless and comes out looking like a show dog. I’m so impressed. Their pricing is also so reasonable and there is no hidden fees. Thank you for all your hard work Joka!

I took my very fearful/reactive dog here for his nail trim as other places have refused to do his nail due to traumatizing experience with the vet. My dog has not gotten his nails professionally trimmimed( just lots of walks during summer). Although they were not able to clip all of his nails, they were able to clip his dewclaws! That's 2 nails more than the others!!! They worked with my big boy really well with care and professionalism. Plus they let me in to watch and really asked me questions to get to know my dog! Really attentive, passionate and nice people here. They did not rush my dog AT ALL. They even offered me help and for me to visit their salon regularly just to desensitized my dog with the place!.I really love the ladies and my dog loves them too!Thank you for what you did today!

I like that this place offers a Quick Fix and this is primarily what i bring my dog to this location for (primary groomer is elsewhere so i bring him here for touch ups in between regular grooming).My dog has anxiety. I brought my dog here 3-4 times about a year ago for the quick fix service. I found that select staff were forceful with how they handled my dog (and yes i could see what they were doing the entire time). I could see my dog was not comfortable - this is one of the reasons i stopped coming. However in the handful of times i came, there was one staff member who had handled my dog really well (i believe her name is Mavis - not sure as it's been a year or so).I decided to take my dog back here for a quick fix a couple days ago. I called in advance to ensure they had time, explained he was anxious, and confirmed they have someone available who is experienced with anxious dogs. They confirmed they have someone who can work with him and that it's a slow day.Im aware of my dogs typical anxious behaviours and how to best work with it. I informed the groomer he has anxiety when i arrived. I also told her that 2 people will be needed for his nail trim - 1 to hold him, 1 to trim.It seems the groomer handled my dog forcefully and potentially caused some soft tissue damage to his hind legs when cutting his nails. Rather than pick him up and hold him, she left my dog on the table and had another groomer hold his head/neck. She pulled his hind legs back and at an angle, which is a method i have not seen before (I've seen his normal groomer and vet tech hold him while another person trims his nails).That evening, my dog rested quite a bit. I didn't worry too much as i had given him situational medicine to help ease the anxiety for the grooming.The day after the quick fix, I noticed my dog would not put a lot weight on his hind legs. Where he typically stands, he was favouring sitting down. He wasn't playing. He was asking for a lot of comfort.I called my vet today (2 days after the quick fix) to see if i should be worried. They asked if there was any trauma and the groomer quick fix was the only event, and they advised that he could have soft tissue damage.Please be careful when considering this business. I relied on the positive reviews and tried them again a year later, only to end up with an injured dog.

Just took my 3 dogs there today for a 15 minute brush and nail trim. Staff is friendly and polite. Dogs settled in quickly to my surprise. Definitely will be going there from now on.

I love taking my dog here to get groomed! I know she will be in safe hands! The owner is so nice and the staff all appear to love being with dogs! My dog comes home smelling fresh and clean! I also like how convenient it is to get there!

Our doggo has never been clipped or cut and always comes out looking great. Our pup doesn't like getting groomed, BUT she does really like her groomer, which is a great sign for all dog owners looking for a groomer.

Best grooming parlor! My dog is very shy and tends to run away whenever I try to clip her nails or grind them but somehow she always let's Mavis make her look adorable! Everyone is super nice and friendly. Always satisfied with their service ❤

It took me a couple days but I decided to share my experience here.If your dog is totally fine and calm with other people clipping their nails or grooming them while restrained, by all means, take them here. However, if your dog is anything like my dog and is not used to groomers, doesn't like their paws touched, and is squirmy when restrained, please do not come here and find somewhere that will take more time and patience to get your dog comfortable before starting the job. I messaged on Facebook beforehand about the concern I had with my dog being uncomfortable with having her nails trimmed and was assured it was not an issue and they simply said absolutely bring her in, no dog likes it".My puppy left here with bleeding on her paw and I now can't come near her feet from the experience she had with the groomer.
