It was my first time at the vet. The office is extremely well-organized and the process they put in place keeps everyone safe. The staff is absolutely lovely, they listen well and follow through. The vet herself was patient with my many questions and explained things so I could understand and make informed decisions. The kitten didn't seem traumatized at all after the experience. I couldn't have hoped for anything better.

This is my first review for anything, but needs to said of this place.Twice I was quoted over the phone for prices they did not honour when I went in to have service done for my pets. The first time it was because prices changed since I set the appointment. The second time was more than double what they quoted me. When I went to pay the receptionist who I was quoted by, she was very rude and asked. “Well, do you want me to take the medication back?!, etc “ She was by far the rudest of all the staff, and after reading another review here seems I’m not the only one she has been like this to. The vet, a younger lady, and a vet tech I assume, I dealt with as well were very nice.I always call places for everything I do to get quotes and have my budget planned. Cost is not the issue, I expect to pay for what I am told. I have OCD and it’s part of my routine I do it with everything among a lot of other things. They don’t seem to care about mental health issues either, as I was sent a stern letter in the mail stating my business with my pets was not wanted anymore and they would not take them even on an emergency. I was pretty thrown off to say the least. I was never rude, never raised my voice, I only let them know I wasn’t happy to be quoted one price and had to pay a lot more then expected.I do not recommend this place in any way. Their are lots of vets around.

Professional, honest, kind and take the time to explain and weigh options. They love animals as much as clients do and honour both pet and owners with their best professional opinion, and support our decisions once made.

Friendly, helpful staff. Our old dog was not in good health and we had to put him down they were so caring and understanding. It made a hard decision a little bit easier.

Best vet service ever. We've been going here for 15 years more, always excellent service. When my puppy was attacked by 2 dogs after hours, Gus reopened and tried to not charge us for the visit. I insisted that we pay as the owner of the dogs that bit my puppy was paying for it

I didn't love" my visit

Lovely place, staff is so kinda with every visit. Very welcoming, always go the extra mile to accommodate. Recently booked and apt and I needed to talk to a vet when the situation changed. She was out of the office but took the time at the end of the day to touch base and make a plan. So kind and informative. I felt heard and understood. Really makes all the difference the extra steps they take.

We were arriving Merrickville by boat on our holiday and called as one of our dogs has a nail that grows into her paw pad and it was causing her discomfort to the point she didn't want to walk. They were very accommodating here and took her in the same day even though we are not regular customers. We were so greatful as it would have changed our holiday outcome if our dog was uncomfortable.
