KoKo The Salon

Nice people but prices are outrageous. Went to see Alann to get blonde highlights on my short dark brown hair. She said blonde highlights would aged me, brown highlights would be better. Highlights with spot trim less than 1/4 inch totaled $272.00!!! Can barely see highlights, I could have dyed it brown myself for less than $15.00! I went to her in hoping for a big new change. I won't be going back there again. What a big disappointment!

Had a wonderful first visit to KoKos. Very clean, modern salon. Sasha gave me a great cut after fixing up my colour. Upscale feel but casual and friendly staff. Be prepared to pay, but worth every dollar.

Shae-Lyn was fantastic for a shampoo, haircut and style! She was so friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable on hair! I got bangs and had so many questions and she was a huge help. The salon was very clean and had a great atmosphere. Pricing was very reasonable as well. I will definitely be booking again at Koko Salon with Shae-Lyn :)

Alann is amazing!! She's super down to earth and easy to talk to but more importantly her skill level is outrageous! Both my daughter and I have had color with her and she does excellent work. She took my daughter's brown hair to blonde in one session and left it feeling healthy and strong! I would highly recommend!

Alann is the owner/Stylist of Koko Salon. She has amazing and outstanding skills, and runs her Salon with professionalism and integrity. Beautiful Salon, extremely clean with an inviting atmosphere that always makes me feel welcome. Love the products too. Alann is super friendly, and cares about what’s going on with your hair. She’s absolutely the best stylist in Edmonton. I highly recommend Alann at Koko Salon.

Have been following Amber for a few years now and she is here. Unbelievable hair stylist. I haven't really chosen my hair cut for a long time, I let her do whatever she wants and I always get complimented on it. The refreshments and snacks are also a bonus!

I moved from Vancouver 15 months ago and worried I wouldn't find someone who could cut and style my difficult hair as well as the stylist I'd been seeing for 20 years in Vancouver. After three bad cuts elsewhere, my former stylist recommended Alann at Koko the Salon in NW Edmonton. I am totally happy! She has excellent skills, takes extra time to deal with the challenges of thick, short hair that grows and bends in every direction, and gives me exactly what I ask for. Plus, she's fun to talk to and gifts clients with homemade cookies and coffee to boot! The salon has a bright, warm, sophisticated and professional feel, and the team are all very friendly. I am totally happy with the fees, especially given that Alann takes extra time with my hair. My hairstyle is the only thing I wear absolutely every day! I highly recommend Alann and KoKo The Salon in NW Edmonton!

Great salon. Tucked away in an area you wouldn't expect but with that comes plenty of parking. Downtown quality salon in a more customer friendly area. Cute little coffee and snack menu adds a warm feel to the visit. I had the pleasure of having Heather do my hair. I told her what I was looking for and she delivered! Including fixing and blending a what I thought would be unfixable super heavy mushroom looking layer from a different salon. Anytime she had a question, instead of guessing at the risk of my hair she confirmed with the master stylist. She will make the most nervous person comfortable. Strongly recommend. Fair prices for a salon too.
