We've had an amazing experience with Heather and Michael. We are on Gibson Lake and they clearly know the local area, and have a wealth of experience to offer on how to get the most value form a property. They were incredibly prompt on their initial response, despite our cold calling them without a referral. They then followed up on that with a site visit within a week, and then provided us with a very comprehensive opinion letter on valuation, including local comps, satellite imagery of our lot lines, quality photos and a detailed assessment of the current value. On top of how they interacted with us, their printed property magazines" with beautiful pics of their current listings are distributed everywhere in the area

Absolutely disgusting and unprofessional behaviour! Heather started off by advising our agent to not put an offer in on a house she had listed. We went to view the house, prior to the viewing, there were no offers, an hour after we saw it she said they had an offer on the table. When our agent said we were coming in with an offer, she advised that we shouldn't bother putting one in....even though we were offering full list price and the only condition was 2 days financing. Our agent insisted allowing us to have an offer on the table to be considered and Heather was incredibly rude and condescending to our agent. Offer was put in but rejected.Our agent was told they accepted the first offer, it was clean, no conditions.Days later, our agent discovers the offer they took was conditional for 5 days, not clean like Heather had told her.Today we discover the husband / wife team represented both the seller AND the buyer. There was NO disclosure of this nor an opportunity to be competitive with our offer (even though we offered full list price). The house sold for $10K less than list! Needless to say, what they did was completely unethical and unprofessional. At this point I even question whether they even presented our offer to the sellers.If you like to be manipulated, then this is your team.

Very much like Vicky Lawrence's review.They ignored our offer origionally claiming to have not know it was coming in after having recieved read receipts. I also believe they did not submit out first offer to the sellers.I found the seller on a cottages group and informed them we had not had a response to our offer.Only then did we hear back from them.They told us we should not have used our own realtor to submit an off and that they could have saved us money if we let them represent us as the buyers of their listing.They were rude, condescending and tried to intimidate us even private messaging me directly on Facebook.The listing promised a list of contents to be included in sale, we close tomorrow and still have no such list.Our realtor has requested it several times and they have not replied.They seem to have a monopoly going on the Severn River and double head almost all of the sales there..

Heather and Michael are great, responsive, and know their market. They also balance each other well as a team where Heather is very intuitive on lifestyle and function, while Michael reviews technical and structural aspects of a cottage.
