How is it that your web learning portal is down, every single weekend? I can see that other students have flagged the issue as well. I've highlighted this issue via email to Customer Support with zero response. Seriously considering doing a credit card charge back for the entirety of the course.

I just gave my exam today. It was a joke, chapter weighing is nothing, only 3 questions from chapters 1,2,3 and 5 questions from last 2 chapters. All the questions were from chapters 9,10,11,12. Hilarious part is that when I booked my exam, the CSI representative asked me that if I have the updated version because there is a new book with updates. I said yes, and in the exam today, they asked questions about the CRM client relations model in chapter 17, which is not even in the new updated book. Very sad. CSI is just trying to make money off failure. I have to write my exam again and pay them another $300 again. I hope someone would bring this to attention so they can stop robbing our hard earned money. Shameful.

The actual exam is far more difficult than any practice/review exam course you'll try.. The questions are built to trick you, nothing is simple and nothing will fully prepare you for the exam. The weighting that is listed on their site is also clearly outdated. Majority of questions are certainly based from Chapters 12-16.. They make more money off of you for failing so it makes sense that they don't fully prepare you for the test, even if you pay them the additional $150 for the practice exams..

I did multiple banking courses with csi and never had issues, unfortunately I never received my certificates via mail for my recent courses. Tried calling them multiple times and got same answer that it was delivered without any proof or confirmation of delivery. Tried to escalate and speak with a manager 3 times but they gave same answer that someone will call be back. We paid such a huge amount to get these certification and after the courses are completed they don't carevabout the certificate delivery. Horrible experience to speak with them over the phone as they have same scripted answers. I am going through small claims court to get my refund and also teach them a lesson. If anyone would like to join me please reply on this review.

I am having the most horrible and frustrating experience with CSI. I booked an exam on Wednesday and shortly after my exam began the program shut down unexpectedly. Contacted prometric and was given a ticket number and told I need to get in touch with csi for a new confirmation to rebook my exam. I immediately contacted csi and was told they would investigate the issue but in the meantime I can be marked as a no show and retake the exam and that the system will be updated (from pending to no-show) in the two hours to allow me to rebook and pay a no show fee which will be reimbursed after the investigation is complete. That did not happen. I called again on the same day and was told I was misinformed and it will be updated the forday(Thursday). I also requested a manger and was told they would call me Thursday morning.24 business hours passed and they never returned my call. I called back Thursday and was told it’s been escalated. It’s now Friday after almost 10 phone calls to csi I am unable to rebook my exam even after stressing the urgency and that this was a condition of my employment. After countless hours of phone calls and agents hanging up on me I am frustrated with no solution and end in site. As a company that facilitates exams that careers depend on I am deeply disappointed.

I cannot believe the rating is as high as it is. Maybe the worst service in Canada. Customer service is a joke. Technical support is a joke. Quality control is laughable. I guess when you are the only one selling something in the country, you can be this bad and stay in business. Congratulations.

I just visited their website to get information on training routes for a financial career. It was very well- structured and helpful. The courses are also planned for career development.

I have written multiple exams with CSI and now I feel I was lucky during all those exams. The last one I wrote, the internet dropped in between and its day 4 and they were not able to fix it. First , I was told it will reset in 24 hrs. Now they say it takes 3-5 business days. Is preparing an exam like a transaction ? The mental effort that goes in to it and the time of prep with work on the side. I cant believe CSI doesnt have a proper system that will auto reset when hundreds take these exams . Totally disappointing and frustrating and mentally disturbing.

CISRO records pass rates (by course provider) for the Provincial life insurance examinations. CSI has one of the highest first-attempt pass rates. This is why I selected them to do the life insurance course. My experience was generally positive. I didn’t experience any issues other people are describing. The material provided matched the curriculum and adequately prepared me for my Provincial exams. The course was pretty bare bones. Just the CISRO handbook and a few practice questions and end of module tests. Other providers appear to offer additional study tools — but CSI still scores very well without any of these. My only issue was with their online proctoring software (ProMetric) which was required to take the final exam remotely. It was bloated and a performance hog on my MacBook. I was worried during the final exam that it might crash. I don’t think PC users will have an issue though.
