The best barbershop you'll find in the city. Amazingly talented team, very laid-back and welcoming/approachable. Owner Julian is really a one of a kind guy. Come for the top notch cut, stay for the conversation and laughs!

Came in for my first time last week. Got a cut and beard trim from Chris!Have not gotten such a great cut from a barber in a very long time!! Chris is extremely experienced, understands hair flow, knows how to establish a full consult prior to starting a cut and checked in with me about length and style throughout the whole time.I am impressed!!! Really good conversation as well, he is definitely a people person and extremely professional.Get a cut from Chris, you will love!!!!Thanks man!

Got my haircut by Austin at Barking Iron Barbershop. My hair was very long when I came in, as I have been growing it out for a few years and I don't just trust anyone with it. Austin made me feel very comfortable from beginning to end. The barbershop itself was very clean with a very cool vibe and atmosphere. I am looking forward to my next visit!

This is a great old fashioned but funky barbershop - very comfortable and spacious - my one on one time with my barber felt personal and private. Austin is a newer barber at the shop - he was fantastic - fast and professional, chatty to the right degree and the result was one of the best cuts I’ve ever had. My previous barber retired (in his 80s) at the start of the pandemic so I feel so relieved and thrilled to find Austin and Barking Iron !

Austin has been my go-to for the last 6 months and there’s no one else I’d trust with my hair cuts now! The Barkin Iron has a great atmosphere and is always super welcoming. Highly recommend!

I love it here. All the hairdressers are super chill and cool, most of them being nerds it seems.I first got my hair done by Katie about 4 months ago. I came back as I loved the first cut I got from her. Second cut? Just as awesome. <3 She works with you to help you figure out what you want exactly. She gives suggestions and ideas that may work for you.Also this is the most affordable hair dressing place I found in the Parkdale area. As I have long hair and I'm gender-diverse, I refused to get women's cuts" from other places. Most other places in this area charge at LEAST 100++ dollars per "womens" cut. That's just crazy to me.Here

Such a lovely shop! I got a beard trim from Austin who was very kind, careful, and thoughtful while shaping up my initially wild beard. The hot towel + straight razor line up at the end was a nice touch that had me leaving the shop feeling very fresh and clean :)The other staff were also friendly and I liked the music that was playing lol. Cool art on the walls too. Good energy all around.

Finally I found a great barber shop. Chris is such an amazing professional. It is so obvious he loves what he does. Extremely patient, pays a lot of attention to every detail, and he know what he is doing. That's the lethal weapon for a good haircut. On top of everything he is a very nice guy as well as other people who work there. They are all friendly and welcoming. Thank you and keep up the good work.
