Legacy Lane Cottages

Great place to spend some days in summer. Neat and clean with all amenities in kitchen. Barbeque with propane available. Woods available at cost for bonfire. Paddle boat was available which was fun. The owners are also friendly.

We went here for the second year in a row and again had a relaxing time. They have a nice spot here with a mix of sun and shade. There is a big area between the cottages with a volleyball net where the kids can run around. The beach is nice and typical for Ontario lakes. The kids loved the floating dock and spent most of the day on that. They have a canoe and some kayaks and a paddle boat as well. You'll have to bring your own life jackets from what I can tell. Cottages are clean and what you would expect for the price. Plan to bring toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags for the duration of your stay. They have a dock as well where you can tie up your boat. The launch we used was a few minutes away in Norland. We golfed in Norland and it's a great little course that is pretty unique. Next year we plan to explore Norland and Coboconk a bit more. The owners are nice and explain everything you need to know. The water comes from their well and owners have been drinking it for 30 years. However, we brought bottles water for drinking. Next year we'll bring big jugs of water because the kids left half bottles everywhere and we had to buy more along with making a ton of garbage. They can sell you wood and have extra propane should you need it. The propane is included, the wood I think was $10 a bag. All in all, I enjoyed myself and was able to relax. I recommend this place and in hope to go back next year again.

We are the Deonarine family from Toronto, the host was very friendly and quite nice to say the least, we rented a cottage close to the water, the lake frozen and the cottage was just amazing, quite impressed and will definitely go back. We had a wonderful time for Christmas..Harold and Arti.

A beautiful place with enough space for two families to share. Air conditioned with a ceiling fan in each room to keep things cool. Eight person dining table and large kitchen with island offer plenty of space to cook and entertain. Flat property with only 4/5 steps into cottage and easy entry to hard sand packed water area with floating dock to swim to. All features that are hard to come by. 10/10

October is my favourite colour and favourite time. I love renting a cottage here because of the peace and quiet. Lots to do in the summer, and you're right on the lake, but I prefer the fall and the hush. I've been coming for several years and will continue to do so.

Although I've never stayed there the cottages and property look 5 star.,from what I've seen from my jet ski on the lake. I've cruised in close to shore and am very impressed. I have a trailer on the lake and will be booking for a winter say. I can't wait!!

Stayed in July 2021. Excellent little cottage resort. Can't comment on the new hosts, since I don't know them, but the property itself is great -- each cottage has its own firepit, they're spacious and clean and comfy. Lots of amenities -- large lawn space, a basketball net, a volleyball net, a small beach with a floating dock, kayaks, canoes, etc. You won't regret it.

Lots of open space for kids to run around.Love the ball court and the private docking areas for lake front cottages.Well organized kitchen with all the things you will need.Don't forget the bug/mosquito reppelents.Friendly owners.Will be back for sure.

Awesome place to visit! Beautiful scenery, with great lake access. Perfect cottages for a family getaway, with comfortable accommodations and activities to do right on the water, Kayaks huge bonus. The host were great, friendly and quick to respond. Will definitely be returning to this place!

I love this place, it's always clean for you when you arrive. What I also love is that there is a go-kart place down the street so you can hang out there. There's also a ice cream place right inside the shop near the go-karts. love that you can rent boats there. not much to ride your bikes anywhere but the stay was perfect, I recommend coming again.
