WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER!I’d like to think of myself as a chicken sandwich connoisseur, having tried many of the top rated chicken sandwiches in the city around Canada and the US. That said I had to give Daddy’s Chicken a try for myself especially after hearing the rave reviews on the local fb groups. All I can say is Wow!!! Life is so much better knowing hands down THE BEST fried chicken sandwich is only 1.8km from home!!! My wife is jealous, she won’t admit it… my children will be jealous… when they find out I went without them. If I had to describe… the words that would be drooling from my mouth would be… light n crispy, hot n juicy, mildly spicy topped with a soft light bun. No need to read anymore reviews, just go!

I’m from the southern US so I’ve had my fair share and this is the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. My daughter made us go back 2 days in a row because she was hooked. The cole slaw was equally fantastic and the owner is a gem. Can’t wait to come back to town to enjoy it again. Get you some!

I just finished eating chicken from this spot and I would like to express my utter respect for the owners of this establishment.Well done, your chicken is beyond delicious. I could not believe how crispy it was on the outside and yet unbelievably moist for every cut. The flavour penetrated through the entire chicken. In this day and age it’s hard to find places like this.If you’re scrolling the reviews trying to figure out if Daddy’s is actually any good, just stop reading and order. You will not be disappointed. Try the coleslaw as well, it was absolutely proper.Thank you for a great meal!

I ordered in 3 pieces of chicken (spicy) and mac and cheese. The chicken was excellent … hot, crispy and just the right amount of spice. The mac and cheese, albeit a bit pricey, is perhaps the best that I’ve ever ordered in. Parmesan cheese on top and the macaroni cooked to al dente.

Amazing ownership and management. Just all round great people…and then there’s the chicken! Tender and succulent with just the right amount of breading and seasoning. They are my go to, not just in the east end but in Toronto in general!I recommend everything but the wings have a special place in my heart! Their spicy slaw is pretty killer too :)

I was in the same as the room as the person that left the one star.It's family day, they have only one person working the kitchen, and they warned all of us that it's going to be a wait. A longer wait than usual. I wasn't surprised at all.We had a few local ciders while we sat down.And we waited, and it was worth it, just like another patron mentioned earlier.Had the fried chicken, mac and cheese, coleslaw. Oh and they make a really nice gravy.Loved the food, and the service.Coming back tomorrow.
