Calgary Honda

Purchasing the Honda was a positive experience. I much enjoyed working with the salesperson; Taryn. She did an excellent job.

This review is for their shop. I cannot speak to what is going on at other Honda dealers, but this one charges customers excessively for repairs. Less than three months ago, I spent $2000.00 on replacing the timing belt and water pump on my 08 Pilot. Recently, there was noise, which I thought it was related to the work they had completed in March, so o brought it to them. The alternator died and needed to be replaced. Their quote: just over $1000.00 for parts and labor! In the end they accepted to install a brand new alternator I purchased from Canadian Tire and charged two hours of labor. My question here is how can they justify two hours of labor for a certified Honda technician to replace an alternator? I am confident this job was performed within one hour. This and previous experiences lead me to believe they overcharge customers for their labor on top of a ridiculous price tag of their parts. I am not coming back to this place unless I have no other option. I have to say Humanish did his best to assist me and showed good customer skills. I spoke with their service manager and I almost laughed at the response she gave me: “I hope next time we can serve you better and the market is not as expensive”. Really???

John and Calgary Honda were 5/5. He responded back to my online inquiry almost immediately and the process of buying a vehicle was very easy with him start to finish. Would definitely recommend reaching out to him if you are in the market for a new vehicle.

Everyone at Calgary Honda was very professional, warm and welcoming. Rod was amazing, and helped us out the most with everything. He was very kind, patient and helpful with any questions and concerns that we had throughout the day. We left very satisfied and happy with our purchase. Thank you again Rod!

I recently bought my first brand new CRV from Honda Calgary. It was an amazing experience. I would like to personally thank Rod (Salesperson). He was honest, humble and very professional salesperson. I got my honda pilot 2023 last month and the transaction was really smooth.thanks to alex and taryn.after a week a saw some very small damage on the right tail ligth and right away i told them and they fix it right away and thanks to tracy for that.all staff and people there are so nice

I went to this dealership with my husband , liked the vehicle, got a very good customer service from Mario ( Sales representative) . I was ready to sign the deal then Alexander Arbec, General Sales Manager , stepped in to give us final price list .. We asked to waive some of the charges, his reply was that we are not getting what he is saying & it’s our choice to buy it or not as he can sell it to another customer. We felt very disrespected .When we walked away,there was not even single apology..I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

I thought they had missed a major problem, but turns out it’s just really bad luck and not something Honda would have been able to diagnose as no codes would come up and they would have had to rip the engine open to find the problem. The shop my vehicle is currently at explained it all and my own research corroborates this. So Honda didn’t actually miss anything they could have reasonably caught.

Recently I bought my first car with the help of Calgary Honda, especially Rod. He made sure everything was good for my safety and all the necessary maintenance. I highly recommend Rod if you are a first time buyer!!

Between my partner and I we have purchased and leased 5 cars from this dealership since 2016. After the first purchase, we’ve noticed a decline in the service. When I called in about having my winter tires changed ASAP due to a flat that happened while I was away on vacation I was told it would take up to three business days to get them sent in from their warehouse. This is understandable, I know that requests like that can take time. However, as a 5 time customer, when I asked about a loaner vehicle to use until we could get the car in I was told “we don’t have any we can loan out, it’s been a busy month and can’t make it happen.” Then when I asked if they would call me when the tires were in shop I was also told that they would not, I have to call them each day to see if they have arrived. The fact that there was no attempt to even look into a solution for needing to get to work, or to even call me when my items that I own arrive in their shop is shocking to me. I’d be very interested to see what they can do to mend this kind of multi-year, multi-purchase relationship at this point.
