Rented suv for two days. Returned and was charged $200 cleaning charge for leaving my coffee cup in the car ,something the desk staff could have easily removed checking mileage but simply left there. Lazy/scammers in my opinion.

DON'T rent a car from their Jasper Canada office. A few days after returning the vehicle our account was debited for towage and a puncture. NOT US. but to late for us to dispute with our bank. And they haven't even had the decency to reply to emails requesting details and a refund.S.R. below did say they would look into it. As did Chris on 5 other of the reviews. I wonder if they did get back to those reviewers. cause they sure as did not get back in touch with me even after sending 4 emails to there customer care department and a email to the Jasper branch owner which leaves us to believe that this is truly a bad company to hire a car from.and we feel sorry for the hard working honest businesses involved in the Jasper tourism industry.

We received excellent service from this Franchisee on our trip to Jasper. We had one small problem with the car in town and the owner was quick to respond and come to the location to help us out. I would not hesitate to rent a car from National in Jasper.

Our agreement only came with a small number of free km, completely inadequate for a trip around Jasper. We questioned this at pickup but were assured it was standard and given no option to add more. We had a $400 surcharge on drop off for extra distance travelled. I've made 4 attempts to discuss with National customer services; this branch is a franchise and unwilling to help, and 3 times I've been assured a manager would call me back and heard nothing. The car was good, service was terrible, avoid if possible.

National Car Rental in Jasper, Canada provided good customer service. I have rented a car there in June 2017. A gentleman from the office picked me up from my hotel, showed me several nice places on the way, told me the time and place to reserve my trip tickets that really helped me to effectively plan my sightseeing schedule. I got the car I reserved and visited the beautiful lakes and mountains in Jasper National Park. Then I returned the car one day earlier. The staff was nice and professional.I would use the service offered by the National Car Rental in Jasper, Canada again if I travel to the area again.

My plan was to rent a car for June 28th, Candy told me I could pick it up June 27th before closing and that I could drop the keys off at the hotel across the road the night of the 28th. Their office is closed after about 6pm so I dropped the car off around 10pm on the 28th. I dropped the keys off at the hotel and I was charged for 2 days because the drop-off was registered as 9am on June 29th. I called National and they apologized and said they would send me a refund. They said they would pay back the extra day in two installments but I am still awaiting the second after 2 months. I can't help but feel like Candy did this on purpose to somehow scam unsuspecting travelers. All that to say, it's been a headache and I'm missing $77.00 that I never should have lost.Aside from the extra charges it was a good experience. This has left a very bad taste in my mouth though and I'll be a lot more cautious next time.

Very negative experience with the Jasper team. we rented a car for two days at the start of June. The day that we had organized to pick the car up we found the office was closed and had to waste an hour of our time trying to get in contact with the team to be able to pick it up. Then after having absolutely no contact from the team for 3 months, we received a massive charge on our card and didn't receive any form of an invoice or explanation until we called up ourselves and requested it, even then the charge seems unjust especially as we paid the extra money for the insurance". Very dissatisfied and disappointed in the customer service (or lack thereof) we received. Would give a 0 start rating if possible

We had a great experience with National Car Rental in Jasper. We travelled with kids to Jasper this summer and it was really hard to get a car for a large group like us. Candy was very patient and helped us to get a 6 person car. The staff was really helpful too. We were in a rush in the morning to drop off the car and catch the train and they found that we left the annual national park pass in the car. We had no time to go to the desk to get it, so they managed to give the pass to the VIA staff to return it to us. The service was awesome! I’ll be back again!

Do not recommand at all! We asked two days before we picked the car up whether we could return the car at another location, we were told that they could tell us the day of the pick up. Fast forward to the Pick up: we rented the car for a week, she told us to call two days after the Pick up to ask again if we could return the car at another location, we did that. I called the Phonenumber that was given to us, (during the operating hours), was told that that was the cellphone number and to call another number and got literally hung up on!Nobody bothered to answer the second number given to us, so after 20 min we called the first number again. This time my husband talked to the same Person, without any problems. She than told us it would cost 800$, we obviously declined. We decided to cut our trip short because we weren't able to make it to this other location and continue our trip from there, so we had to rearrange our plans. Therefore we returned the car two full days ahead of time, only to be refunded 25$ (two days of full rental would cost somewhere round 400-500$).Very dissapointing experience
