I was at Glad Day this week for a painting workshop. It was my first time in the shop & I was blown away! The staff is so warm, kind & welcoming. The space is lovely, comfortable & beautifully decorated with art & books. It's so cool that you can get food there too! I had the LGBTQ sandwich, the cornbread, and a mocha latte, and really enjoyed all. I had such a nice time being there, and I can't wait to come back. What a great spot, thank you Glad Day! Highly recommend!

Came here for drag brunch a few weeks back and had the most wonderful time. The staff and performers are incredibly friendly, and you can tell they are truly having a good time. The performance was so fun, and the perfect thing to perk you up on a weekend morning.Be sure to have cash on you! While they do accept tips via machine, it's much more fun to be able to tip with cash. This is a must do in Toronto.

Fantastic spot! Great bookstore/cafe with an impressive collection of queer books. Turns into a bar at night. We were there for pride, and the bartenders were super friendly.

A staple in the village. Has great events and drinks with a nice atmosphere. Employees are absolutely lovely and welcoming. The variety of books they have is also very impressive and is well categorized.

Why call it brunch if it’s only going to be egg, breakfast meat, and fruit? I am eating breakfast food at 3 in the evening… Also, for the love of God, do not bring children. They will actively make the show more offensive when they see kids.

Glad Day never disappoints, a major fixture in the community for my entire life. I and my partner attended an event featuring Bear Sailor Moon and Alyssa Brink. It was brilliant, of course. Everyone locally knows Glad Day, but if you are visiting the Village for your first time either for Pride or at any time of year, do make Glad Day a go-to destination on your itinerary.

Sunday drag brunch was so much fun! All of the entertainers and staff were welcoming and friendly. While drink service was slow at the onset (between doors and show) the staff made sure everything came out and were great at checking back throughout the show. Breakfast was tasty but simple, I love the vegan options, and it really fills you up. Was fun to check out the bookstore during intermission and afterwards too!
