A fun place to go. Everything takes you to a blast in the past. The decor and ambience was fun. The food was so filling and delicious. The servers were very friendly and answered my questions politely. I didn’t get the chance to try the music box but it worked when some other patrons tried it and played good music.Will be back.

Marv's Classic Soda Shop
This 50s themed diner was a really fun place to visit. They have a working juke box that adds to the atmosphere and overall dining experience. So make sure to bring some quarters, or you can ask the staff to break some change for you. The burgers are really good, juicy, and taste freshly made. The patties are pretty big and definitely worth the price. The fries are also great, with a good amount of seasoning and a crispy texture.

Just love this place for all the good reasons...Amazing vibes...good food...best crispy fries we've ever had...Love their ice cream soda...the service is excellent..the staff is very efficient and friendly...We drive all the way to Black Diamond just to eat there and have their soda with ice cream..Do give it a try!!

This is a little old fashioned diner on the Main Street of town. We came thanks to all the great reviews and it definitely did not disappoint! The burgers were fresh, well seasoned, and delicious. The fries were also very unique and really tasty! I had a coffee milkshake and I’m so glad I tried it because it was also so so good! The service was also fantastic. Every booth has a working jukebox which is really neat. The bathrooms were clean as well. There’s a cute store area at the front featuring old colas and candy. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for an excellent burger & fries.

Stopped in for lunch and it is an authentic diner complete with working jukebox. We were able to make our music selection at the table which was a real treat. Milkshakes, hot dogs and ice cream were our lunch choices. Waitress in 50's garb completed the retro feel. Kids loved the dog and fries served in a car!

This was a very cute 50's retro diner. We loved the little red baskets our food came in and the excellent service from the waitresses that were dressed in vintage outfits. The Bopper whopper was very filling and delicious as well as the fries, milkshakes and banana split ice cream sundae.

Dropped by for a nostalgic lunch with my kids, and enjoyed every minute of this awesome throwback. The kids loved their meals, which arrived in ‘50s cardboard cars - those went home with them, by the way - as well as looking over all the traditional decor and memorabilia. The food was fresh and hot, the burgers tasted home-made, and the service was excellent. Bring quarters to spin tunes on the table-top jukeboxes and bring a hearty appetite - it’s hard not to try something else. We’ll absolutely return, and will make it a regular drop-in.

This burger and shake place is a fun blast from the past!It was really neat to look around at all of the memorabilia inside; they even have some small retro-style trinkets and goodies for sale.First, let me start off by saying - they have a pet friendly patio! It was great to be able to have our dog join us for lunch. Just remember to bring a water bowl, as I did not see any available.We opted for the Fonzie (cheeseburger) and chocolate malts. The burger was pretty standard, with all the usual toppings (fresh lettuce, tomato, pickles, mustard and mayo). The patty was on the smaller side, but definitely tasted homemade. The bun was a bit stale/dry and I didn't eat it.All of the burger meals come with fries, which were very hot and crispy. It was a small portion than some other restaurants, but very filling - couldn't finish them all.The malts were absolutely the highlight of the meal. So delicious and frosty, with real whipped cream on top and the extra served up in the metal milkshake cups on the side, so you could top up your glass. I would come back just for these!The service was also very friendly. I loved how all the servers wore 50's style outfits- so authentic!

We enjoyed our time at Marv's. We arrived just as he opened, and were served quickly and with great service. This is a cute place. It really is like stepping back in time. The jukebox is full of great tunes. The food is good. It's not the greatest, but I think we go there for the experience, not necessarily for the world class food. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend the place!! Come for a trip down memory lane, a good burger and some old fashioned candies to take home with you!
