If you want to join a cult- this is the place to do it! Be mindful and extremely careful when looking into booking with Medicine Farms. If you do book and for some reason can’t make it don’t expect a refund- you’ll get a long winded response telling you all the things they think are wrong with you and how you’re a horrible human (cue comment from the leader once this review gets posted). Hi! Me and a buddy rode to Tofino and stayed at the farm for two nights, we had a great time! Yes is off grid" camping but is better than what you would think. There comes a time in a woman's life where she longs for a cabin in the woods by herself, to let go of everything and return to her true self. This was my time. Being at this little cabin in the woods, with a wood burning stove and no other distractions for a week, was one of the most important things I have ever done for myself. Zigaziga & Eden offer the greatest gifts - time & space surrounded by the simplicity and healing power of nature. With adorable puppies & cats! Their knowledge of simple, sustainable living is excellent. This was life at its' most simple - a warm fire (bring your own firewood) and no light or sound pollution (bring a head lamp or flashlight) allowed my body, mind, & soul to rest and reset. All I brought were cozy clothes, yoga mat, journal, & a desire for rest. My week long supported retreat on the Medicine Farm was a life changing experience I will always hold dear to my heart. Do you feel the call? Do it! Your soul will thank you.

Such a lovely place & lovely people! We had a great stay & loved the all the animals. Everyone was very welcoming and our cabin was beautiful :)

Had to leave earlier than expected due to work related emergency. However, in our short stay, both Zigaziga and Eden have been wonderful and welcoming and their beautiful 3 dogs, cats and ducks! It is off the grid, really cool to hear what they were able to do with the place from scratch in 20 years. Really amazing. They were straightforward and honest and I feel as long as you understand that, you will have a wonderful time. Thanks again, I hope to see y'all down the line!

We stayed in the artist's hut for three days and it was trully amaizing! Getting the chance to reconnect with nature in such a beatifull place is the best way to trully disconnect from your everyday life. We shared an amazing meal with them and met a bunch of really awesome and open minded people. Our stay was a real treat and would 100% come back there!If you consider comming there, you really need to read all the reviews (especially the bad ones) in order to know if this place is made for you. If you are not comfortable with pooping in a bucket, not taking a long hot shower or sharing your space with all kinds of insects, do not come here. However, if you want to discover how easy it is to live with the bare minimum of comfort go ahead! This is an awesome place to get to know and understand what you trully need.

Enjoyed a stay at the Seer for a few nights. Met some of the most friendly animals in my life, all raised by the owner. The dogs and the cats joined us for long hikes and hang out with us in the evenings. Their is a beautiful trail carved out to the beach not for beginners but is definitely worth the effort. Medicine Farm is a unique remote place in the middle of the woods. The host Ziga was very kind and welcoming, let us borrow mugs and wood even offered some of the eggs from the chickens there. We felt very welcomed and safe. Our cabin overlooked the tops of the trees and was equipped with a gas stove. There was a shower and a toilet near by. The roads to get there are rough so don’t go with a car that’s not prepared for forest roads. It’s only a 10 minute drive for Ucluelet. Overall, I would be very happy to return and it’s a great place for calm nature loving individuals.
