Fresh spin on date night. Enjoyed handmade gnocchi smothered in a red sauce with dynomite salads … all while sipping wine. Absolutely enjoyed our night out. Thank you for the experience.

What a great experience Essential Kitchen always delivers. Stacia has done a wonderful job of making all her cooking classes fun and informative. Also a great place to meet new people. I have been there since the first class and it just keeps getting better!

A friend of mine stumbled on Essential Kitchen last year on her way home from a trip to the Eastern Townships. She had raved about it at the time so when my husband and I recently had to travel to Montreal from our home in Toronto, we decided to stop in Cornwall and check it out. Are we ever glad we did! We bought a loaf of bread and some dips to take with us and had a great conversation with EK's delightful owner, Stacia. I only wish we'd had more time so we could have stuck around for one of the many experience" evenings they host here (I'm looking at you The Art of Spanish Tapas). My husband and I do this trip to Montreal at least once a quarter and we've both agreed that next time

Made a stop at Essential Kitchen on a road trip from Toronto to Montreal after hearing great things from a city friend. The studio space was beautiful and has a wonderful selection of kitchen tools, fresh, local food, and wine! The owner, Stacia, was extremely welcoming, friendly, and knowledgable; we had an absolutely lovely time chatting with her and getting all our kitchen/food questions answered. Sadly we were unable to take part in any in-studio classes/events, but would definitely return for a fun weekend getaway experience! Such a fantastic store front with so much to offer both the local community and those just passing through.

If you’re looking for laughs, good food, and a unique experience, Essential Kitchen is the place to be. Stacia has created an amazing environment for everyone of all ages to learn more, meet new people and form a love of cooking. Not to mention, Essential Kitchen has some amazing items to purchase like Riedel wine glasses and so much more. 10/10 recommend! I even came all the way from Toronto to visit.

My husband and I were visiting friends in Cornwall. They recommended to stop by essential kitchen to get some fresh produce. The owner is a very lovely, knowledgeable and passionate lady. Please open one in Toronto so we can try the cooking classes :)

Wow! I had such a fun time at EK. It’s such a cool, welcoming space and the classes are great. I came in from out of town to visit friends and family in Cornwall and we attended a cocktail sampler at EK. I would highly recommend checking out Stacia’s experience classes, but book early because they fill up fast! She also has beautiful glassware and cookware and, although we missed out, fresh breads, eggs and produce weekly. We are in the process of booking a private event for my next visit to the area. I can’t wait to go back!

You had me at brunch. Stacia the owner of EK, greeted me with a warm welcome, and smile . The kitchen space was decorative, functional and inviting. I selected the avacado toast . Whole-wheat sour dough topped with creamy avocado, poached eggs, arugula, feta cheese, dark olives, and drizzled with balsamic glaze sent my taste buds into orbit .

From Oshawa, visited some family in Cornwall and stumbled upon this wonderful place! Was a part of one of the cooking classes and could not ask for a better experience! The owner Stacia was also so friendly and welcoming, would definitely visit again!
