Very clean and well organized place. Prices are reasonable. Friendly staffs. Great place for stop over from long trip and get some warm meals or some deli or even ice cream and grab some groceries before heading home.

First time actually getting to go here... It's way bigger than I expected. I've had goodies from here lots, but it's quite the experience of being in the market. Sat down for an amazing sandwich and soup. Their cinnamon Rolls are to die for.

When traveling Hwy 104E to Halifax NS be sure to drop in to Masstown Market. It is filled with grocery items a bakery a liquor store and the best I've cream shoppe.

Always nice to stop for lunch and ice cream! Great selection of fresh produce and other grocery needs. I always have to check out the meat market across the road to stock up on delicious cuts. Also a great assortment of gift items.

Masstown Market
Masstown market is a must go to for newcomers or visitors. In main strip there are always different items for sale very unique. At the far back there are washrooms and a icecream/dessert bar. To the right is the butcher shop, they always have a huge selection of meat including different kitchen items and spices. To the left is the creamery, they usually have these trays for really cheap that have different types of cheeses you can try which I always buy. Quick snack for the kids with the meats and cheese.

The grocery store, eat-in and creamery: 5*The raw fish store: 5*The fish boat: 1* - or less. I'm not sure what happened to the boat, but the knife they gave me couldn't even cut the leather-like batter on the fish and the fries were not even remotely the same as when it started. Will not likely be back anytime soon for that. I couldn't eat much of it, and if you know me, that's very telling. Too bad. They're had a good thing going. They went from excellent to quite possibly the worst fish and chips I've ever eaten in 2 short years.

Don't go early if you're there for freshly baked goods, though. Store opens at 9, and the freshly baked stuff didn't start coming out until well after 10. Weird, lol.

Quite disappointed, was looking at buying some locally made crafts, but everything I looked at buying was made in China. But lots of parking and the lighthouse was neat.
