Pipers Lagoon Park
Stopped at this little park for a view of the Entrance Island Lighthouse. While the lighthouse was visible it was also windy and cold so I didn't stay long. There is a decent sized parking lot and the bathrooms...well, they are bathrooms. They weren't the cleanest and are fairly small but so much better than outhouses. It seemed to be a pretty popular park though. Sure it's busier in the warmer months. There are picnic tables and grass around the parking lot. There are also benches behind the drift wood along the little bit of beach I walked. I wish I had been able to visit on a day that it wasn't so windy and cold so that I could have explored the park more.

Breathtaking view of sky, water, and earth. You can walk along the shore. The skyline and changing water color captures the mind and the heart. The succulents and vegetations on the rock are beautiful.

Great park for picnicking and exploring, you will most likely see a Heron or two feeding on the flats. Popular spot for families and dog owners. Can get windy so bring a decent coat.

Was here back in summer time of 2022 and it was truly a magical spot. I think about it a lot and I hope to be back in Nanaimo to see this spot again. I love it and I miss it. Come by during sunset to enjoy the light and how painterly it makes the landscape and ocean.

Still my all time favourite beach! So many cool places to explore! Especially at low tide. Climb over, walk around, check out all the hidden beaches, and lookouts.

Pipers Lagoon Park
It was gorgeous. A great place to walk and see all the beauty it has to offer. A nice beach and place to swim or paddle board or just enjoy the beauty. Also is dog friendly and even has a off leash area on the other side.

Fantastic area to spend a few hours on a picnic or a mini island exploration. If the tide is low you can walk out to the old shacks on a tidal island. Bring sturdy shoes since you’ll be walking on a bed of oysters and boulders.
