The Kitchen at Sauble Beach

Bravo! Finally a place to have some great Italian food comes to Sauble Beach! The salads, pizza, and steak frites we tried were delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly. Will definitely be coming back the next time we visit Sauble.

I came with my Italian girlfriend and mother and had the pleasure of meeting the chef and owner, Liana. We had a wonderful chat about food and life. A true Italian and the flavor of the dishes were delicious. We hope she has great success here. Come and support a true family run restaurant in a great Italian style

Enjoyed our Anniversary dinner here with their Prime Rib and Spahetti Bolognese. Only open for 6 days and they were missing two wait staff but the food was wonderful and service was exceptional. Will be back to try their rave review pizza!!!! On our way out the owner gave us a voucher for a free bottle of wine on our next visit!!!!

We celebrated our 6yr anniversary here and I’m so happy we did! The food is so tasty, we enjoyed the wine and the staff was so attentive and friendly. I can’t wait for our next vacation so we can dine here again!!!!

I had such a great dining experience at the kitchen this evening! The staff was very friendly and the chef offered a variety of gluten free options as I am celiac. The gluten free chicken parm was amazing and my friend got the bruschetta and said it was to die for! Overall a great night, with great food, and great energy. Will definitely be back!

Had our Anniversary dinner here, Ron was awesome! Food was fantastic!This was our first time, but we certainly will beome regulars! Great prices as well. Very reasonable.Highly recommended.

Super busy Thursday and we arrived without a reso. They happily accommodated us even though it was very busy. Food came out quick and the pizza is exceptional, really quality ingredients. I wasn’t thrilled with the limited beer and wine options but my dinner guest loved the beer and I ended up enjoying my wine.By the looks of the table turnover, Sauble Beach was just waiting for this little gem!!!

I rarely write reviews, and I have so far never written one that is negative, but I am so angry and embarrassed by my experience last night at this restaurant that I am going to start now.Firstly, the food, with one notable exception was reasonable. I shared a beetroot salad with my sister which was quite good; I am also told that the wings were pretty good, but I don't care for them and didn't try them. The pizzas, when they finally arrived, were pretty severely burnt and not particularly appetizing... although we were almost all hungry enough that we did eat them... they were barely edible. I am nearly sure that this last was deliberate.Many people were likely well served that evening... one table that came in about half an hour later than we did had their food before our drinks arrived. I am surmising that someone in our party inadvertently antagonized the staff and set off a display of prolonged and deliberate rudeness the like of which I have never experienced in any previous restaurant... if their aim was discourage us from ever returning they have certainly hit the mark. I was a guest and did not pay for the meal so I do not know whether or not a tip was left; usually I am a fairly generous tipper but this would be one of the very few times in my life that I would have left nothing at all. I also believe that they believed the party was from out of town and did not realise that three of us were local residents; I can't believe that this attitude will do Sauble Beach any good in the long term.To summarize: this place is probably okay if you do not incur the wrath of the wait staff, but if you manage to do so, they will treat you like dirt. There are better choices of restaurant in the area and I would recommend you patronize them instead.

Heard and read a lot about the place and as a nearby resident wanted to try. Saturday evening - takeout. I had high hopes, wishing that Sauble Beach will finally get a restaurant that serves something other than pizza, and or burgers. Disappointed. Basically another pizza menu with 2 pasta dishes my kids can make. And burgers of course. Not to mention that staff was untrained and service nonexistent. After being told that kitchen is so behind that the takeout will not start until 8:30pm, I was finally told that kitchen is so behind that they stopped taking food orders……. Truly hope that the owners will step up; fix the menu, train the staff and make this a successful enterprise. We need it. Till then, I am out.
