Metchosin Farmers' Market
A ton of produce with very kind vendors! There isn't a lot of apparel at this farmers market, it's mostly food. There was a fresh sausage sandwich vendor who my friend adored! He told her his life story and made amazing sausages. The music was pleasant but seemed disorganized as one man went on a political rant only to be shut down by the guitarist, it was very awkward and it was unclear if they even knew each other. A woman also dragged a dog when it got in her way when the owners weren't looking. Not the most peaceful environment unfortunately.

Metchosin Farmers' Market
Such a lovely market that's actually a farmers market! I didn't see any multi-level-market junk, no Tupperware and no fast fashion clothing! Everything was locally made or grown which I loved- I will definitely be returning to check out the museum again which seemed to be in progress when I visited. Lots of parking and lots of cool vendors

Metchosin Farmers' Market
The museum there alone is worth a visit I reckon. In particular, there is this 120+ years old stove that is restored and it’s a thing of beauty. The volunteer was amazing, he actually took the time to explain pretty much everything in the museum and shared some stories about growing up there.

This place was very warm with welcoming. Very pleased to see a variety. And the school was probably the most memorable visit on the island so far! Way to go with the knowledge and amazing history Dick could provide us. We will be back!

Lovely little market with an old book store and a Metchosin Pioneer Museum ran by passionate volunteers. Very interesting and it’s a lovely morning! Opens every Sunday from 11-2pm from May to October.

Lovely place with lots of fresh vegetables, homemade cream, soap, etc. and a cute book shop. We also enjoyed the live music while we were eating ginger cookies on the lawn.
