Finally! Toronto was really missing a respectable west African restaurant!The food was great, and the portions big and worth the price.It really has the taste of west Africa, brought me straight back to childhood.The atmosphere in the place is really cheerful, and the owner’s story warm to the heart.I will definitely return soon.

Long wait for food. Around 90 minutes. This is fine, I understand a new restaurant can have some issues at the start. Our mains were mixed up with another table's, this is fine, mistakes can happen. When our food arrived, the chicken dish was delicious but the goat was overcooked and very dry. I struggled to cut it up. The manager told us there would be a discount of 5%. We thought a 5% discount given the wait and quality of the food was a bit unfair. The manager was not helpful and didn't see it from our perspective.We were told we were not honest because we didn't send back the incorrect meal. At this stage, we were just hungry and wanted to eat.It is a shame because there were some nice flavours and it was something unique in the area. I don't think $35 dollars for a meal that took 90 minutes to arrive is worth it.

Love it here! The food is amazing, the owner and chef is lovely. This restaurant is also vegan friendly.

I eat out all the time, was so tired of the taste of outside food, I was praying for a homemade food. One of my friends recommended this restaurant and on God it made my day. Finally had some real food after months. Most likely I’ll be here few times a week. :)

I went with a friend on a Friday evening. I can say that once we entered, the staff and the atmosphere were so great.. almost felt like at home.We really had a fabulous experience. The staff is so kind, and helpful, and it is really nice to see this kind of service in Toronto. The food was amazing, cooked perfectly and the server was available to answer any of our question. My friend who is from West Africa confirmed that the taste is great, so was glad I was not the only one who felt this :) I took the braised chicken with flavored rice, it was a delish end to end, like really the home cooked food vibe.At the end we had a nice chat with an employee, then we realized that she is the owner, Fabiola. She let us know the different process to get their menu rolling successful, she is so humble and welcoming.Thanks again for the great experience!!! We will come back for sureKrishna

It was a wonderful experience trying new flavours. Food was delicious with multiple layers of flavours. Ambiance is lovely, from the decor to the music. Waiter was helpful recommending from the menu and attentive. The ‘surprise me’ cocktail was exceptional- totally recommend. And the chef is lovely and talented. She came to our table and had a wonderful chat that taught us about West African foods and culture.

Spotted this new restaurant pop up in the area on Google Maps and was pretty excited to try it out. It did not disappoint. You’re greeted with very friendly service, who are eager to make recommendations on what to try from the menu.We ordered plantain waffles topped with avocados and onions, grilled chicken with fried plaintains, sea bass and a variety of yogurts for dessert. Everything was delicious and I can’t wait to come back to try out the rest of the menu.

It was a very pleasant experience. We have been greeted by Ibrahim with a warm smile.The food was relatively fast, very flavourful and decent portion sizes. The chef came out and made sure we were happy and satisfied.our overall experience was great. We highly recommend.if you are looking for vegan options you won’t be disappointed.
