Club Lac Walfred

My family just came back after spending 4 great days at Club Walfred, Mistral cottage. The cottage is beautiful and location is very nice too ( just an hour from Montreal and 20 min from St- Sauver). The only thing was missing - a deck and a better access to the lake. Probably, because the Club is new and still a work in progress.Hope to find them done next time when we rent it again :) N. I would definitely recommend this place to rent for a weekend. Fairly luxurious, great location, not too far from Montreal.

Very nice place and the house, but the front desk was unresponsive or people who works there were clueless.

We spent 3 nights there, the chalet was very lux. But we were promissed on the lake, and it was far frok the lake! You need to take your car to get to the lake.And the public entrance to the lake is very dangerous for kids.

A group of 7 of us stayed at Club Lac Wilfred for three nights and had an excellent time! The stunning chalet is brand new and in pristine condition. The beds (1 king and 2 queens) were all very comfortable with nice linens, though the pull-out couch in the basement may be uncomfortable for longer stays. Appliances, the hot tub and BBQ were all high end brands and you can definitely tell they have put thought into what's included with the chalet. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you'd need to prepare meals. There is a TV on the main floor and a second one in the basement, both connected to Bell Fibe - perfect if you're travelling with kids. The internet was also very fast and capable of streaming Netflix in HD. The large veranda and outdoor table set were perfect for having meals outdoors with a beautiful scenic view onto the lake. The lake is very nice and swimable and at night you have a great view of the stars. Having kayaks at the shared dock is also a big plus! One thing to note, the dock is shared, so if there are two full chalets both wanting to use the dock, it will definitely be tight! The town is very nearby if you need to pick up groceries or drinks.

Beautiful, fully equipped luxury cottage on the lake with spectacular sunset views from the balcony. The hot tub under the stars and fire pit were a highlight. Overall we had a comfortable, relaxing stay. Highly recommend!
