TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

My boyfriend has been trying to get our mortgage figured out to purchase another home and it’s been over 6 weeks that he has been working with NISCHOL. I would HIGHLY suggest going to another branch and don’t waste your time with Nischol.It was MUCH faster with our previous mortgage which was at another branch. This has been a very painful and infuriating experience thus far.If zero stars were an option that’s what we would rate this experience.

I have been dealing with Eddie at this location in regards to setting up small business accounts which went smooth. My only complaint is that I have been waiting over three months for a credit card to arrive, after multiple attempts to reach Eddie for some answers. I would suggest getting a credit card elsewhere.

Terrible branch. I walked in to change my debit card. The attendant resty entire online account. I have to locate and re-enter all my bill payment accounts... I would think twice about this branch and td in general. You get much better service elsewhere..would not recommend this branch or this bank

During this COVID time you have to line up outside 6 feet a part, which I understand 100 percent. I was in line and I was up the side walk towards Barton. The Branch manager Maria came out and took the 4/ppl ahead of me and closed the doors. She tried to tell me I was not in line, well my husband waiting in the car watching me as my witness. She treated me like a second class citizen.we have our mortgage, credit cards and my Mother worked for T.D for 50 years. I have never in my life experienced such poor customer service.She did try and make up for it as she directed me to the bank machine, but her tone and her condescending demeanour upset me even more. Definitely will not go back to that branch as long as she is there.

On a regular day they're pretty good. Never had a rude bank teller but only thing I don't approve of is when its busy and you guys got line up almost out your door. Why don't have more then 2-3 tellers? Its common sense.

How does this location even get a 3.9 rating? They don't even deserve 1 star. If I can give them a -1star, I would. Terrible service. Branch manager doesn't seem to care when a client has a concern. Stay away from this bank.

Staff are always friendly to me at this location. It gets busy during the day which means limited parking and a long line inside. Arrive early to avoid waiting and to get the staff in their best mood. Easily accessible ATM. This is my preferred TD banking location.

Do NOT go to this location. They will treat you like the crackhead of Barton St. I know that this is a rough part of town, but can't the staff and manager use their common sense and good judgment? Not get me wrong, the staff here are never rude or anything. About 2 years ago the manager (should have asked for his name) at this branch refused to let me pay my TD visa because the amount is “too high”. I even asked him to look at my banking history and it’s nothing abnormal with the type of transaction according to my history. I normally go to the TD on Mall Rd and I have never had any problem there. I would never go to this bank if it wasn’t because it is closed to my work. However, since Auther is no longer there, I have not been back and will not come back. It wasn’t just me who feel this way, but my staff told me that this location did not allow her to deposit her pay cheque because the date was date stamp and not hand written (this was a hand written cheque). I have 13 staff and no one ever has any issue depositing their cheques. It is just this location. They should just put a sign outside advertising that they ONLY SERVICE THE CRACKHEAD OF HAMILTON if they treat everyone who walks through the door this was or if things are that bad than to just shut down this location completely instead of pissing off their good client. I have been banking with TD for the last 19yrs and if it wasn’t because of the good services that I received from the Mall Rd location, I would have cancelled my TD account.

I am in the branch 2-3 times a month plus at 3-4 times a month to the ATM, and have never had an issue - except once with a homeless guy sleeping in the corner of the lobby one winter. Not much of an issue as a surprise - but then it WAS cold out. Staff has been always friendly and one CSR even went out of their way to get me a better credit card deal and another found an option as I senior I hadn't known about which caused the bank to refund me monthly service fees going back a year!I started my first TD bank account in 1962 as a paper carrier... and still here. Not the same branch, but the same bank. There's a reason.

Went in to open a TFSA and was basically shamed by the representative cause I didn’t have an extensive knowledge of investment took almost a hours for him to finally open the account I wanted after he tried multiples times to shame push me to invest my money when I said several times I wasn’t interested
