Denise altered a lovely 3/4 length dress, and two 1 piece pantsuits that I bought online but were all too big for me when they arrived. She did a great job listening to my ideas and suggesting her own ideas for fitting each garment. She made them fit my body and all these clothes look so much better now, thanks to her. I'm very happy with her alteration services and would highly recommend her.

My mom had used Hanging by a Thread? previously for dress alterations and was extremely happy with the outcome!When it came to my wedding dress, I had found the perfect dress and had alterations done elsewhere prior to my wedding.Unfortunately, the stress of wedding planning caught up to me and I had lost a considerable amount of weight 2 weeks prior to my wedding.While my mom was in to pick up her mother of the bride dress from alterations, she expressed to Denise my situation. Denise was incredibly kind and went out of her way to ask for me to come in to see her to see how she could help! I messaged Denise and within that evening I was arriving at her home to have her expert opinion on alterations to have me fit into my dress again.Denise has such an eye for detail! Not only did she do the alterations to take in the dress where needed, but she went above and beyond adding more beadwork to the back of my dress where it was lacking to enhance the overall look!When I went back in for my final fitting and to pick up my dress I was blown away! The amount of work that Denise had put into my dress in such a short amount of time was amazing! The dress was better than I ever could have hoped for and I was finally excited to wear my wedding dress on my wedding day again!Denise has such a kind, genuine heart that radiates the moment you meet her. I cannot thank Denise enough for all of the extra time and work she put into my wedding dress. Not only did she save my dress, but she also saved my wedding day and I can’t thank her enough!
