PB and Chi Dog Rescue Society

Take weeks to reply to communications. My application took 3 weeks to process, then an interview, and was later told the dog I applied for was gone before the interview even happened. They couldnt be bothered to tell the interviewer or I beforehand. Incredibly unprofessional.

Great experience with PB&Chi! We adopted our second rescue dog through them and have been fostering for them for almost 4 years. Always lots of help if there are training questions or advice needed. They even have a little dog community to do group walks with and connect with other adopters. Met lots of great people and dogs through PB&Chi!

They love what they do ans it sure shows. Best rescue hands down.

I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere if you want to rescue a dog and definitely if the dog you adopted needs training.

Unfortunately I’ve had nothing but awful experiences with PB and Chi. First it took months for anyone to even get back to me about a foster to adopt app and I had sent in two applications. I wanted to meet a sweet chihuahua but the foster would take days to reply and had all of these rules on times I could message or couldn’t. I would send a message at 11am and not get a response then I’d send one after 8pm and I’m told it’s too late so it was just confusing and frustrating. She made no effort whatsoever to try and make the introduction happen. When I asked the rescue I was basically told it is what it is and never heard back. I have volunteered with rescues since I was young and it saddens me to write this review as I know how hard volunteers work. Just seems like dogs may be missing out on homes due to lack of communication or care on some people’s parts.

Adopted our sweet boy through PB and Chi. The process was thorough and made me feel secure with the process. It’s clear they care about where their dogs end up and that means a lot!Thank you to all the volunteers that made this happen.

We also had an awful, sketchy and deceitful experience with this company. We applied for a sweet dog, we were finally told after 3 months, that we would not be getting her. She was going to someone with more experience. That was almost two weeks ago, we just found out that she is still with her foster family, with no hint of being adopted and that the email sent to us was untruthful. I’m unsure of the reason why they felt the need to lie to us, they played it off as if we just weren’t the “right fit” and someone else was “better suited” for her. Totally ignoring my concerns with an emoji smiley face. Such a bizarre experience, for a little family looking to rescue a sweet little pup.
