Mi Tienda Latina
I have ordered a few times here, typically when América Latina is closed. On both occasions at least one aspect of my order was disappointing. The first time my papusas were so oily I had to blot them multiple times with paper towel before eating them, but the rice was very tasty. Then on my second order, I ordered the fries (maybe my bad for ordering fries) but there was maybe 10 fries in the box and the box was half empty, they were also covered in oil, soggy with 0 crisp and cold. The papusas were okay, taste was great but again still quite oily despite requesting less oil. Unsure if I’ll be going back.

A nice gem! Was just walking in the area and decided to stop by out of curiosity and we left with a new go-to pupusa spot in Kitchener! Staff are super friendly, store offered a diverse selection of latino goods including tortillas and ripe plátanos. Also really enjoyed the birria tacos - will definitely be going back

Good place to eat, quick service, delicious, fresh food but a little expensive. Got breakfast platter (take out) for the wife and I. Came to $41 after adding on Pastalitos. So for a Sunday breakfast that’s not cheap. Good customer service, nice food although the tacos were a bit hard.

We recently discovered Mi Tienda Latina and have already visited a few times. It has a friendly atmosphere and is perfect for the whole family. I think we've now tried all the different pupusas and would recommend all of them, as they're all filled with flavour. As far as we can tell, everything is homemade and prepared fresh. We went in for pupusas today but saw a lot of people ordering the soup, so we're looking forward to trying that on our next visit. When you visit, be sure to take a look around the store and buy something to bring home.

Wonderfully friendly person at the counter, made some suggestions as to what I need to make tamales (for the first time). I also really like this place because it stocks things uncommonly found anywhere else, like Queso cheese and Masa Harina.

The staff hands down were some of the kindest people I have ever talked to in all of KW.The hardest part of eating in was figuring out what I wanted off the menu because it all sounded so good.Got the jalapeno and vegan pupasas. Tasted great, super cheap and the pickled veggies on the side were amazing.Can't thank the staff enough for how awesome they were.
