If you're an English speaker, Duc de Lorraine is English speaking friendly. The hospitality was amazing and the staff there helped with choosing which foods to get. The ambiance was also great along with the presentation of all the pastries and drinks. 10/10. The creme brulee was really good too. Not too sweet, just right.

We had a brunch at terrace with phenomenal view on St.Joseph Oratory. While the food presentation and flavor were really good, both my husband and I ended up with upset stomachs. The plates are humongous, we packed the remaining to go, but ended up disposing of it, unfortunately, as we do not want to take any risks. For the price, one would expect impeccable quality.PS. Cappuccino (with oat milk) and regular croissants are just average.

It is always a great treat to go to Duc. Today we finally got to try their famous crème brûlée doughnut. Oh my! Worth the hype. We also got another chocolate dessert. They told me the name but I can’t remember. Look at the photo and you will know what to order. So good!No matter what, you should also get a croissant or pain au chocolat because they’re just so good. Try as much stuff as your belly can handle.A huge added bonus is how lovely the staff is. Really nice and competent people. They make you feel seen and appreciated.

The food is delicious and its portions are large. The attention can improve, our coffee came to the end when we had already finished our food (and we had to remind the waiter). They offer you water but then they charge you for it, tip: ask for unbottled water if you don't want to see 10 CAD extra in your account. As an experience it was good.

Over-rated. I think I had high expectations from their instagram. The baked goods were amazing. The coffee did not taste good. The waiters seemed to be distracted, and there were a lot of people involved in one order, I had different people coming getting mh order and serving me, which resulted in a lot of miscommunication. The location is great, and the french vibes are always on point. I just wish there was more depth into the food and service.

The food was great, but the food isn't much French Food". Homard risotto and Philly cheese stake (Amerian) were great. The oysters from Prince Edwards island were delicious. The little touch of France is in the bakery and the lack of deodorant of some of the waiters... The terrace outside is gorgeous."

The service was excellent. I had gotten 6 pastries and 6 beignets. Out of all the pastries, the one that was the tastiest was the pistachio mousse. The beignets were not what I would have expected unfortunately. Maybe I built up a high expectation from watching social media. I am definitely going to try it again however, to make sure that it was not a one off and that the beignet I tasted last time was as such.

The small cakes are simply horrible. The cream are just wrong on every level, the pastry is even more ridiculous. Let’s not even talk about their awfully disgusting coffee. Coming from someone that doesn’t care how much I spend for good food, Duc is heavily overpriced for absolutely no reason. I absolutely do not recommend. This place is a major Tourist trap … ew ew ew. The only good thing I can say is that the girl who helped us with the order was really nice ! 0/10

We stopped by for delicious pastries and coffee on their beautiful patio. The staff were nice enough to accommodate our rather large group. Mandela was great with helping keep the kiddos entertained. Shoutout to Sam for making us welcome and attending to our needs so diligently. He went above and beyond when it started to rain, organizing the team (Remi, Reem, Mandela & Saja) quickly in order to keep us dry.

The pastries here are really nice though on the expensive side. The croissant was decent too. The service is good as well. However we didn’t try the lunch options as they seemed way overpriced.
