chicken katsu, didn't notice early thought it's just a piece of the katsu, then i found that it's a probably burnt chopsticks, tough and cannot be eaten, that's bad.

First time trying while I visited Surrey. Really great first experience. Little nice cozy place. Taste was pretty great and prices quite a bargain. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

Ordered take out, we got home only to find our 2 orders of miso soup did not make it in the bag, the tempura had no sauce with it, the ebi sunomono had no citrus taste.Called Haru Sushi the offered us 4 pieces of spring roll when it comes in 6 pieces.Disgusting customer service. Although close to our home We will not be returning. They simply did not value our business. We will go to a competitor.

Quaint little sushi shop with delicious food for fair value. Their aburi was delicious, offered in 4 kinds and pay-per-piece. Agedashi tofu had great tofu-to-breading ratio. Staff were friendly

Pretty disappointed after trying this place for the first time. We got Udon Noodles and Roll Sushi. The lid on one the noodles wasn't secure and leaked through the bag all over my car which sucked. The bowl that stayed intact was still super super hot after driving home which was great but there was zero flavour. The veggies were crunchy and the noodles were good but the soup had zero seasoning to it. It was like eating noodles and veggies in just plain boiled water. The avocado in the rolls was very mushy and didn't taste fresh, the yam rolls were an oddly sweet flavour like they had sugar in them.Wasn't worth the price plus tip.

Nice and cozy, private booths, they have some of the best fancy rolls that I have had many times, Dragon roll, Spider roll, Tiger roll just to mention a few.One of my favorite places to go for sushi. Would definitely recommend.

The taste of the food is just AMAZING, you can tell from the pictures that they exerted a lot of effort on the presentation.The food is both appealing to the eyes and taste buds!

Haru is the best sushi joint around here! We've tried a few sushi restaurants in our area but continue to come back to Haru, not only is their sushi the best but also their customer service is awesome! You can really tell that they appreciate the support. They even threw in free spring rolls last time we ordered from them! Thanks for being the best Haru!
