This shop is easily one of the best shops for any type of aftermarket performance parts and service you can go too. I dropped off a lowered Colorado and signed on for a full on custom build. i spent over $30,000 and i can honestly say you get what you pay for. There wasn't a single bolt or nut that went untouched. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Sam the owner was extremely professional and always kept me notified of what was going on and being done. I was sent pictures consistently. I knew where every dollar was getting spent. the build process was just over 17 months, that time frame would be tough for any custom builder. Fully custom powder coated chassis with top of the line everything. Full air ride, Accuair and interior work as well. A complete one stop shop. I picked it up in Calgary and drove it all the way home to Edmonton with not a single issue. I put 11,000km that summer and hit shows all over Alberta. It hasn't skipped a beat. I would recommend Sam and the others @ Epic rod and custom to anyone i know. Great service and even better work! You can tell they have the passion and the pride in what they are doing there and that's hard to find.

I love dealing with Epic. You know you're getting top quality work at a fair price. Sam is knowledgable and skilled. My family, friends and I won't take our vehicles anywhere else and I know that's a common theme amongst the other Epic customers I have talked to. Best custom rod shop in the city, for sure!

When I was unable to find anybody to help set up the suspension on my 57 chev, a friend recommended Epic. Right from the outset they were friendly, helpful and very professional. Epic diagnosed the issues and set up a plan to go forward. They set a timetable that they stuck to and everything was done in a prompt and professional way.I also loved the fact that the communication with myself but also internally was always a priority, and being able to talk to the technician handling the work was very helpful in understanding what the issues were, and then deciding together, the way forward.They also helped with engine sealing, steering, cooling ,electrical and braking and lots of gremlins.The final result was a vehicle that runs and drives and stops the way I had always hoped it would. Kudos the Blake and Sam and all the employees over at Epic. I would not hesitate to take my classic there if you need some help with an issue that does not seem to go away.

Purchased an air ride kit for a customer car from Sam. He was super helpful when I had any install questions and helped us out when we needed some tweaking of the ride height sensors.5 Stars isnt enough for these guys. Thanks again Sam, Blake and everyone at Epic.

Does not inspect mechanical work or workmanship on my 1958 apache before it left his shop. I took a working vehicle in for upgrades I got back a start in gear (so dangerous) No headlights functioning at all and no way for hi beams to work even after headlights would be repaired . Paid nearly $3000 for storage box in back you get back cracked wood in truck box Have to disassemble storage box and all air susp to replace wood. Metal shavings all inside the box, I guess I was lucky if I asked for shavings to be vacuumed out I would have been billed for a shop vac maybe? Weather strip install so bad I just removed all and will redo my self. leaking air suspension, so now if I leave truck for 2 ours it tilts to the right 5-6 inches. You have to turn the ignition on and off trice now to make air ride even work. I asked sam what he would feel comfortable giving me for a refund he said I will give you not $1 dollar. Bring it back and I will try and repair how can you trust someone that makes that many mistakes. I paid Sam nearly $14000 and now I have at another shop I am paying to get all the issues repaired. Sam quoted me 20 hrs to upgrade air susp, I was billed $4200 I paid the bill. I paid exactly what he asked not $1 less and this is what I got. There are other safety issues but I have listed enough. Here's a copy of the invoice.Attention to detail are you crazy. The previous owner of my truck paid epic over 25g. Epic installed the rad with no lower brackets, the only thing holding rad in were hoses and upper plate that's attention to detail, this is not a neighbor doing it for beer money epic is not cheap. He installed a intank fuel pump on the frame it melted the rubber clamps holding it to the frame.He put fuel vent 6 inches lower than fill hose so when you fueled truck it would leak out until you drove it for a few hours.I had to get new shop to redo all the airlines because his connections from alun pipe to plastic all leaked. Over night truck was on the ground.I have all the bills from shop in Strathmore showing all the stuff that had to be fixed.If you want something done right ask sam to make his company logo and install it somewhere on your vehicle that will be correct and he will charge you for that as well.Sam sold me some wheels and brakes for $4500 said we can bolt them on its a deal. They bolt on you just cant drive or turn the truck with them on. I guess he just needed the money.Sam asked to borrow my truck to go to Edmonton car show I said sure I get it back empty after I pu I run out of fuel 1 block away.No please someone call google and order a 6 star plus for this guy he deserves it

I have done all of my own automotive work of absolutely any kind myself since I was taught as a little boy but I do know my own limitations!When I actually needed frame work done that was way out of my “scope” I called up Sam at epic,The job got done far cleaner, far faster, and far cheaper than I could ever do myself!Keep up the great work and keep honing your craft!

Sam and Blake at Epic Rod and Custom.I stopped by Epic Rod and Custom a few weeks ago to inquire about having an air ride system installed that would allow me to drop my classic car to the ground. Blake graciously invited me back into the shop to show me a car that was currently getting the system installed, and took the time to explain the entire process to me. I ended up opting to have my car lowered only two inches. Once the work on my car was finished, he went through the detailed step-by-step process, explaining what all parts and labor was for.A couple of weeks later, I brought my car back as I had been experiencing degraded engine performance, which was getting worse by the day. They fixed the various problems and again, explained and showed me step by step what they had done in way of repairs. My car runs better than it ever has since I’ve owned it.What really impresses me with the gentlemen at Epic Rod & Custom is their communication. I would mention something on the phone to Blake, and then when dropping my car off the next morning I talked to Sam in person, who knew exactly what I was talking about. Blake had relayed the information to Sam, who would be doing the work. That process seems like it should be the standard, but how often do you phone a company and have a conversation, then when you talk to someone else later, you have to start again from scratch? Blake and Sam kept me engaged while the work was being done, giving me updates more often than I could even have expected.Sam and Blake are both very well-mannered and polite. I felt that they had all the time in the world for me. Both times I picked up my car, it was right before closing time. Going past closing time, Blake stayed late with me talking about my car, his car or just cars in general!These guys love cars and it shows in both their attitude and their finished product.

I'm really happy I connected with Sam and the Epic team. He gave me great advice and they designed me a nice bagged suspension for my old Cadillac. The shop is great, and the people are better.
