Noting a mechanic take oil sample bought truck a month later changed oil then couldn't keep oil in after. Engine was done 30.000 to rebuild and they wouldn't come good or even help out stay away

Robert Vancour is a complete liar. Due to COVID couldn’t see the truck before purchase.. he intentionally lied about numerous things.. I didn’t expect to get a used truck and not put money at it either… just would have dealt with an honest person .. heard about other people with the same experience since… check engine lights came on 100 mi into the ride home… said he would take care of it amongst other things then ghosted

We purchased a 388 Peterbilt from them. Robert was very nice to talk to on the phone. We agreed to have the truck delivered to us and that was included in the price.The truck broke down on the way to us, ended up having to be pull started due to a bad starter they knew was bad. Then the truck was left at the truck stop and also gelled up due to cold weather.I called Robert and asked him what was going on, he said we will take care of it.". So I called a local company that repairs trucks. They replaced the starter

I purchased a Mack from them in January, supposed to be ready to go to work. It broke down on the way home,. Also, a Quebec inspection isn't worth the paper its printed on in Alberta.

Bought a tractor there many years ago. Never had any major issues with it for the 5-6 years I owned it. Been in the market for 2 more tractors, primarily a w900l or 379 and Gamache is just ridiculous with their asking price. I see it this way, if a company quotes me a stupid number off the bat then I'm not wasting my time with them to even bother nogotiating. There's reasonable and then there's just greed. It's unfortunate Gamache has grown to gain this reputation in the trucking community because there equipment and variety is quite nice.

I DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT. THEY HAVE BAD ETHICS AND PRACTICES AND THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR AGREEMENTS.. SENT ME AND INVOICE TO SEND TO MY BANK SO THAT COULD GET THE CORRECT INFORMATION ON THE TRUCK FOR THE LOAN PAPERWORK... ROBERT AGREED TO THE DEAL AND FORWARD ME THE PAPERWORK TO SEND TO THE BANK .. HAD PRIOR APPROVAL JUST NEED THE TRUCK INFORMATION CHANGED ON THE PAPERWORK .. ROBERT AGREED TO HOLD THE TRUCK FOR ME UNTIL MONDAY... CALLED ROBERT ON HIS CELL OVER THE WEEKEND TO REASSURE HIM THAT WE ARE GOOD ... COULD NOT MAKE CONTACT.... CALLED ROBERT AGAIN ON MONDAY ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THE TRUCK HAD BEEN SOLD .. WHICH IS A LEGAL ISSUE.. BUT TO PURSUE IT IS NOT WORT THE HEADACHE.. SO I WILL TELL THE WORLD ABOUT THESE GUYS AND HOPE THAT I CAN PREVENT IT FORM HAPPENING TO SOMEONE ELSE.................NO DEPOSIT WAS NECESSARY WHEN I PROVIDED YOU WITH A LETTER IF INTENT FROM THE BANK WITH CERTIFIED FUNDS WITH INFORMATION FOR THE WIRE TRANSFER ..... I SIMPLY DO NOT RECOMMEND DOING BUSINESS WITH THESE GUYS ... THEY SOLD A TRUCK RIGHT FROM UNDER ME AFTER WE HAD A VERBAL AGREEMENT ... Bought a single axle truck a year ago. Very difficult to deal with. nothing but a hassle. When truck arrived parts were broken, it also clearly had been paint bombed nothing but issues with the truck now.

Total lack of communication.Been trying to get a hold of someone from this dealership I’ve sent emails, calls and text not one person has gotten back to me about any of the trucks I’ve been interested in.

I just hope they let me get my stuff back out of the truck that my previous company sold… the company sold the truck and didn’t even let me get my things out of it.I hope they don’t throw out all my things. :;;((It’s a shame they aren’t open on the weekend, I’m up here to get my things but they aren’t open ;(
