Mezbaan at Innes & Trim was such a let-down. It was the first place we tried when we moved to Ottawa (the other location) and had really high expectations.First of all, there was a server with a really sour expression. We were very hesitant to ask anything of her.Secondly, the food is not that good. Really. Have a look at the picture. When half the plate is filled with cheap vegetables and you're charging insane amounts of money, you know something is wrong. Look at the petite amount of rice served. I was left extremely hungry after this meal. Also, the naan that they served was stone-cold. We asked them to heat it up twice! The first time, they just switched it up with another naan that was sitting cold. The second time was when it came back with heat on it.There is no way you need to visit this place. You'll leave hungry and broke.

This was my first time trying Afghan cuisine with my daughter. The service was incredible and the waitress was very kind and acommodating. I tried the Qabuli Uzbeki. It was scrumptious and beautifully seasoned. The portions, as seen in the photos, was very generous. My daughter had the Tikka kabob with qabuli rice which she highly enjoyed. Afterwards, we had Firnee and green tea for dessert. The Firnee was a light tasty treat - very smooth. I would definitely recommend coming to Mezbaan Orleans to experience their wonderful cuisine.

What a nice experience! I ordered the meal for two to-go and upgraded the rice, and added a side of mantu. The mantu was delicious and perfectly cooked. The rice and skewers were well-seasoned. The raisins and carrot added a subtle sweetness to the plate to balance out the spices. There was a lot of rice so I think we will order extra skewers next time for leftovers or a bigger meal. Service was very friendly!

My first time here, food was average nothing special. I had the beef shami, one side of my kabobs were too cooked whereas the backs weren’t as much. You could see the colour difference in the cooked meat. The salad was unpleasant. Only 2 pieces of tomato and cucumber and the rest was all lettuce. I didn’t eat it. The white sauce was good. The decorations were nice. The cashier was friendly, but the guy behind the counter kept starting oddly.

Love Mezbaan for dine in and take out.. their skewers are delish. We've tried the Mantu, the Bolani and some of their other apps and they're all really good. The kebabs ( we tried chicken shammi, chicken tandoori, beef) are juicy and flavourful. Lots of rice and salad, the Naan is really good too.

What a great experience!The food was delicious, the service was quick, there are lots of tables and even a carpeted area to enjoy your meal seated on the ground.There is a wide variety of non-alcoholic beverages.Our meals were large and fresh. A crispy salad with lettuce tomato cucumber, a generous portion of rice and two large meat skewers, along with big pieces of bread (whole wheat naan)The restaurant has plenty of tables 12-4 seaters, 2-2 seaters and one booth for 6.The washrooms are large, clean and have an accessible stale.The door is flat to the sidewalk and an accessible parking space is directly out front.

Welcome to Orleans! When I saw reviews for their other location, I knew this place would be delicious - and it was!! I had the chicken breast kabob which was fantastic! The chicken was perfectly cooked and very nicely spiced. The rice was also very good as was the naan bread. The portion, as you can see, was generous! I look forward to coming back here; the usual afghani kabob place I enjoy can be a bit of a drive from Orleans so I’m happy to have a place that’s close by - and absolutely AMAZING!

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere! The servers were very kind and accommodating. Service went quickly and it didn't take long for our food to arrive. The food was amazing! I would definitely recommend coming to Mezbaan to experience authentic Afghan cuisine.

I dropped in and ordered the chicken tandoori wrap to go. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great. I look forward to going in for a dine-in experience. The wrap was amazing. It will definitely be my go to comfort food from now on! I don’t often make reviews but this deserved one. It’s like your favourite Indian food (I’m aware that it’s an Afghan restaurant) and Shawarma had a love child. Chef’s kiss**

Family run restaurant. Absolutely delicious food. Fantastic waitress. We had dumplings, chicken tandoori, garlic naan, garlic fries, and delicious juicy and tender kebabs. Turn the lights dimmer 2 notches down and it be close to perfect! Amazing to find such affordable quality food 5 minutes out from home! Don't change anything!
