wasnt the best but wasnt the worst, the staff seemed nice when my friends family hosted their wedding here but a lot went wrong with the setting up of the food. it seems like a nice place to go golfing though!

A well maintained scenic course combining a good mixture of difficulties for all levels, well manicured greens and a friendly staff. Great day at the Oakes of Cobden.

Oaks of Cobden Golf Club
Another great well-maintained course about 20 minutes from Renfrew that is challenging with water hazards and a few blind holes. Always enjoy the long back to back par 5's on the front. Walking this one isn't so bad, only a few holes with a climb.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this golf club. The course is beautiful and definitely has some challenges. Staff are amazing, super friendly and helpful.The grounds crew have really brought the course back to life and work tirelessly to keep it in great shape!Clubhouse crew are welcoming, helpful and friendly.Thank you to Carrie and her team for always making sure we have a terrific experience at the club!

Oaks of Cobden Golf Club
Played the Oaks this past weekend. Nice track, the fairways and greens are in very good condition however I was disappointed to find that most of the tee-blocks were beat up and in terrible shape. We encountered a bit of rain and quickly discovered that the carts aren’t equipped with club covers either.We paid nearly $80 cart & tax - weekend rate.In my opinion this isn’t an $80 course.

Staff/manager was extremely rude and received poor service.Course was in sub par condition . Water logged .Rented clubs. No wedges . Only 3 irons.Go somewhere else if possible . Only good thing is the convenience to logos land if you're staying there .

Nice course and good value. Tee boxes were in rough shape. Fairways were nice and green a few patchy/damaged areas that don't look like they are fixing. Greens were good mostly green some damaged spots on most of the greens. The greens played fast. Course lay out is great and very scenic and mature course. Pretty challenging with some tight Fairways. Staff were very friendly and they have a nice clubhouse with and upper level all glass looking over the 18th green. Dont think I'd drive there again to play but would recommend giving it a try.

The par 4 8th was shortened to a par 3 on the day due to a waterlogged fairway. That's never a good indication of the condition and upkeep of a course. The rental set was very old and uncleaned. Be aware that the rental set did not include balls or tees and these are then extra, which means the total cost is a bit too much for a course of this standard. Some decent holes layout-wise, but too many felt slightly pedestrian.

Oaks of Cobden Golf Club
Opening day April 28th 2023 and the course wintered very well. The fairways are in great shape, for this time of year and the greens were in excellent condition for anytime. A testament to the grounds keeper's efforts. Well done.The course is in 5 star condition but I gave it a 4 star rating because of a lack of practice facilities. Overall it's very good value, you will enjoy the experience of this friendly country course.
