Highlander Dry Cleaning And Laundromat Center

I’m not normally one to post anything. I have been going to this laundry mat for over 10 years , Today i went there with my bedding , as i have ALWAYS have done . i went up to the counter and asked for change for a $10 i asked for 4 loonies and the rest in quarters . The man working asked if i was washing my items in the front load washer because the comforter would wash nice . Not once did he say to me “ the comforter NEEDS to be washed in the front load washer “ i went and started 2 machines one for sheets and pillow cases and the other for my 1 comforter . while my items are in the spin cycle the man comes out and tells me comforters do not go in the top load washers . Mind you i was not told and there where no signs anywhere that bedding or comforters are not to be washed in the top load . a women which i assume is the owner walked out and first thing she said was i was no longer allowed back there and that i should know better . she stood there hoovering while i was waiting for my items . i even said i was not aware that wasn’t allowed . then man who supplied my change lied to her and said he told me but he never did he told the women he gave me the right amount of change for the bigger machine . that machine is 8 loonies and he gave me 4 . if i was made aware and he did what he said and that was tell me it has to be washed in the bigger machine i would have had washed my items where i was told i was allowed . She then said my $2 wash won’t repair there machines . when my blanket breaks it . For future clients that come to your facility make them aware you can’t wash blankets in certain machines and when doing so do not treat them as if there beneath you and being disrespectful , a simple “ im sorry if you weren’t made aware but we like blankets to be washed in this machine please keep that in mind for your next visit “ if i was not band and told i was never allowed back i would make sure i never went back .

These people kick customers out for not knowing the rules of the business. No signage, nothing. Instead of politely telling people the rules for next time, expects people to already know (how?!, are people supposed to be psychic?!) Perhaps better inform people. Will be telling everyone to stay away.

Brought my Rudsak coat here for a cleaning it had to be sent to their Leather specialist. When I got it back it was missing the zipper pull was broken. They replaced it with a used scratched up zipper pull (photo attc.) also would like to add I shouldn’t have to have a 5 minute conversation with a cashier on getting a slip when dropping off my jacket, this is a dry cleaner that should be customary… please train your workers and find a new leather specialist.Jacket is 2 months old btw

It is always clean. They make change there. There is plenty of washers and dryers to do all your laundry. The 2 young men that work there are absolutely amazing staff.

Very clean ...has 2 large capacity front loader heavy duty commercial washers 2 smaller capacity heavy duty wwshers. And almost 20 top loaders. Very helpful staff Stephen is really knowledgeable and cool. all of them run for about 35 min. At least 20 large capacity commercial gas powered dryers running at 5min for 25cents. We normally do about 5 loads using the large and top combination. I an dout in about 1 HR 1 HR 15 min. Totally worth the time spend. You could read a book or something while waiting on the tables and chairs provided. There is also a dry cleaning service in the facility.

Absolutely worst customer service! The owner is very rude. She had an argument with me right in front of other people. Very unpleasant atmosphere. I have been using them as my dry cleaners for years! NO MORE!!!

Very clean, not very busy. Lots of machines to use. The decor is a blast from the past, which tells you this place is well established. Friendly staff. All around, a very good choice for a laundromat.

Extremely clean and friendly staff. Close to other stores. I was so happy to see a person onsite to help get coin. Well kept and loada of machines to use. Bonues being so close to a grocery store. So delighted by this and reccommend it to everyone for use. Great job!!

Clothes were still stained when we picked them up from the dry cleaners, the male employee with black hair didn’t even acknowledge it and became defensive when we asked about it.We decided to try to clean the shirts at home and successfully got the stains out completely! it’s like they didn’t even try. Wouldn’t recommend the place for dry cleaning..

Called in and the lady that picked up says a swear word then hangs up. I call back and she is speaking normal all of a sudden. Even with this “normal” tone, she made every effort to not sell the service. Tells me “I can’t help you if you need your clothes back soon”. Like I didn’t even say when i need them. Then when i said i can pick it up next day if that’s okay with her, she rudely replues “No, sorry”. Zero customer service. Zero respect.
