SLP Computer Repairs

I had a really bad experience, I brought my computer because neither the microphone nor the internet were working properly. Instead of fixing the problem I was charged almost a 100 dollars for diagnostic and cleaning, and then after I reluctantly agreed he couldn’t fix my real issue, I could’ve cleaned the computer myself if that’s all he was going to do for 100 dollars. It took almost 1 week and a half to get my computer back and it still had the same issues. That’s very disappointing. I took my computer over to DF computer by welland ave and they fixed both my issues in 3 hours and for only 80 dollars. I wouldn’t recommend this place, go somewhere else.

Creaking and slow as molasses, I was afraid my 10-year-old computer was a writeoff. Everything I had tried online only made the situation worse. I figured my only chance was to find a local repair tech who might be able to determine if the unit was worth saving. On the basis of his excellent reviews, I turned to Steve. It was the best tech decision I've ever made. Steve went far beyond the cursory systems check you get from one of the big box techies, instead taking the time and interest to look into every aspect of my computer. By cleaning the hardware, removing old and malfunctioning software, updating programs and adding some RAM, Steve gave me back a machine that works better than the day I bought it. I respect his commitment to repairing rather than discarding and his patient, thorough and systematic approach to troubleshooting and remediation. And he kept me in the loop every step of the way, even sending photos to illustrate his recommendations and repairs. Thank you, Steve.

I’ve used Steve’s services in the past and just like last time he was very polite, professional, and thorough. He made sure to explain everything as best as he could to someone that isn’t very tech savvy themselves and got the OK’s before going ahead with certain things. He was he able to fix my problems in a timely manner and charged a reasonable price for everything. I actually feel comfortable leaving my PC with him and couldn’t be happier with the results! I will continue to use him in the future.

Very good service, gave me many useful tips regarding maintaining and buying computers and their accessories. Repairs were a little slow but was expected given the specific circumstances. Overall a good experience and would recommend.
