FIRST ONSITE Property Restoration

I booked a call with them at 7am this morning. Was told at 8am when the office opened that someone would come around 1pm maybe 2pm. It is now 6:15pm and I am told by the dispatcher that they will now send someone out tomorrow as they don't have time for me today. I have waited nearly 12 hours with a flooded basement. My tenants can't sleep there until the work is completed and they are only telling me now that they can't make it. If that was the case why not tell me from the start they are too busy today?

My flooded basement received prompt, courteous attention. Workers were professional and well-organized, and inspired confidence in their ability to address my emergency. Clear communication was provided throughout the remediation process. A situation that looked daunting to me was handled effectively and efficiently. I was very impressed and am very grateful.

Very quick to respond to us the same day. They brought in a crew to remove the damaged material and dispose of it, then they brought in machines to dry out the walls.We received a statement for the cost, so there is no surprises. Karen & Henry Chalas

In Feb 2022 my place 650 square feet was destroyed by flood ! Total gut job!The workers were totally incompetent poor workmanship never here maybe 15 hours a week ! Job was supposed to be done my May 30 ! I kicked them out July 31! Moved in Aug 15Place is poorly insulated wind blows in around windows & doors ,there are huge gaps in vinyl plank on the floors! Paneling is coming off walls , plastic water pipe burst in an interior wall! There are no GFI outlets in bathroom or kitchen! Entrance lights to rooms are in odd places I have carry a flashlight sometimes to enter rooms because switches are across the room!The list goes on!Lots & lots of material waste! Could have repaired 2 places with the amount of material !I’m out of pocket around $10,000To repair poor quality everything!Would I recommend this company ?ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!In my mind what happened to me borders on insurance fraud!!

Carol, Project Manager, was available as a resource to assist with the process, extremely helpful and knowledgeable.She co ordinated restoration and rebuild in a seamless professional manner to alleviate our stress. Excellent communication and workmanship. We were in very good hands and are extremely pleased with the results. Would recommend highly.

Still dealing with the fallout of their shoddy insurance work 5 years after the incident to our house... don't let your insurance company send them... Worst-OnSite... Never-OnSite...

Assessment of damage was done quickly and efficiently. Replacement samples were available in a timely manner. Actual packing and movement of furniture was done very efficiently. The tear-out. removal and reinstall of the flooring was carried out in a very professional manner. The work crews were most pleasant and careful in all aspects of the job. The clean up at the end was excellent.

Terrible experience. First Onsite was recommended by my insurer. After contacting them, some emergency work was done.Several times, I have asked for a copy of documentation that I had signed, as well as the estimate, and an invoice for the emergency work already done. However, I have yet to receive any of it. My final email to Carol" was ignored completely. I called the office to complain but was only told that the message would be passed on. Now

Although it was midnight on a Friday, Melissa was in touch with us immediately after being contacted by my insurance company. She was lovely and offered to come over right away. I decided the morning was fine and she arrived on time Saturday morning. She was wonderful, arranging the cleanup crew and answering my questions and concerns. Within an hour, Tim arrived to do the necessary work. Tim was also wonderful...he professionally did everything that was needed and went beyond in his work, even wiping down the stairs and floors where he and the plumber had walked, although he had spread drop sheets in the main traffic areas. When he left, he gave me his cell number and said to call if I needed him to return for any issues. I was totally impressed with Firstonsite Restoration, their work ethics and the fabulous, caring people I was grateful to meet today. Thanks so much, Melissa and Tim. You are both awesome!!!
