Really enjoyed this great little town. Lots to see, great restaurants, ice cream and coffee shops. The fort is a must see. Very educational and an important part of history in British Columbia.

Easy access but kind of a small historical site, not much to see, good family outing for the family.

Amazing place full of treasures! I recommend it to everyone (for all age) to understand our history. They do realistic representations of hiw people lived at that time. Everything is translated in French (as an official Canadian site) & free access on Canada day! Enjoy!

What a nice fun place to visit for the whole family! All the staffs are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They even have 5 tentics for rent to stay inside the fort during summer time, so cool! Clean washrooms and big parking lot..

My sister and I enjoyed a tranquil hour wandering around this historic old Fort, extensively restored. The big house is particularly notable, as, for me, was the cooperage.

The thing that makes Fort Langley is the enthusiasm and erudition of the docents who bring this place alive. On our visit we met an 80 year old man who had the most phenomenal memory who held us spell-bound while he told us his story - and the story of the Fort. But the laurel wreath award goes to the chatty blacksmith who absolutely brilliant and shows you how hand eye coordination improves with practice and cannot be replicated any other way and who can turn a few cms of iron bar into a nail in seconds. We were early, so all I wanted to do was use the washroom - which is before you have to pay for admission - we would of course return after lunch - and I had a very informative exchange with the guy selling tickets. Parks Canada has done its amazing magic (see Dawson City if you don't believe me) in bringing a collection of historical buildings to life. Every schoolchild in the lower mainland gets to go to Fort Langley. If you haven't been yet you should go now.

A very cool heritage site! I'm in no way a historian, but it was really nice knowing about the culture and history of the indigenous community here. A fun yet learning experience.

Great place for kids (and adults). It’s fairly quiet at the moment and the gift shop & cafe weren’t open when I visited. It’s a lovely place away from the hustle and bustle of the Main Street. Bring sunscreen on a sunny day!
