Went for lunch with my girlfriend, we are visiting Kitimat on a road trip. I'm glad I was able to convince my girlfriend to join me as she had never been to a golf course and was nervous about the atmosphere. We were greeted and seated right away by Mia and instantly knew we were in a laid back and casual establishment (still classy, but not uptight hoity-toity country club style). Nice size restaurant with the most stunning views! The menu is great and fair prices. Food was delicious!! Mia's service was top notch. Great job Mia and everyone else! We will be back in the future!

After searching all of kitimat for a breakfast spot, we found this quaint little spot outside of town with low expectations, but we're pleasantly proven wrong by very friendly service and a filling breakfast I very much enjoyed.

Hirsch Creek Bar & Grill
Great service and my fish and chips were nice and crunchy on the outside and very flaky and moist on the inside. Was very good. I also enjoyed the fries!

The course is beautiful. The restaurant food could be better, but the service is touch and go. Some servers are GREAT! Others we had to go inside and ask 3 times for drinks and a menu.

I tried to give the place another go. Once again nothing tasted fresh. I ordered fish tacos and they came in cheap hard shells. Everything was frozen and not fresh. But comes with a price tag of a nice restaurant. Sat on the deck but no tables had shade or umbrellas. Why is it so hard to have fresh food on the menu? The ocean is right there.

It was….ok-ish. Sat inside as patio was way too busy and they only had one server on who was run off her feet. Went inside and there was dirty tables everywhere, despite servers and busboys standing around. Our server was okay…but definitely had to be asked multiple times for things like cutlery, condiments and my partner never did get the water he asked for twice. His Guinness was also over a year expired. The food was average at best and honestly, apart from the views, I don’t see a reason we’d go back.
