Caribbean Corner NL

DO NOT RECOMMEND! Took the jerk shrimp and its as bad as subway rice. The image is not even close to what I got and a significant portion of the box was empty. Not coming back.

What a cozy place we discovered my friend and I! The staff was so friendly and the food was exquisite. I had the oxtail gyro and my friend had the jerk chicken. They really gave us a warm welcome and I’ll be definitely coming back here on my next work trip! 10/10 recommend

Much needed addition to the downtown St John's food scene. We had the oxtail and the jerk chicken and they were flavourful and falling off the bone. The beef patties were also tasty.

A family member surprised me with some vegan food from Caribbean Corner on Water Street. He bought aloo pie and two doubles (curried chickpea) for take out. It was delicious! I'm already looking forward to having it again.

Holy RIP off Batman..2 tiny doubles that had about 45 stewed lentles on tiny dinner roll size barra ..Cost $18 each meal ??!!We bought 5 snacks and then found out what they gave us...You'd never find this in the Caribbean. The cook would get laughed off the island..We have had real doubles in Trinidad that cost $2.00 cdn..each...What we just received from Caribbean Corner in St John's ... Wow..We got RIPPED Off by this horrible overly priced garbage for $75.00 Canadian.Yesterday we had crabs and lobsters for the 4 of us elsewhere that cost less than this garbage and they also tasted way better..Yeah. Guarantee We will Never return to this overly priced place..

Caribbean Corner in St. Johns is a true gem. The food is absolutely delicious! Every bite is bursting with authentic Caribbean flavors. The prices are resonable and portions are big. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to try something new.

Just found this place today and I wish I had known about long ago! I ate my chicken patty on the way home in my car because I couldn’t wait. It’s was delish!!! The chicken roti is huge and is so goooood!!!! I ordered a side of rice and peas as well. Everything was perfect! I’ll be trying other things on their menu with out a doubt!

Love chicken rotis so was very happy to find this place. We ordered chicken roti, aloo pie, a beef patty and doubles. Everything was great, especially the aloo pie. A bit on the salty side but super tasty. The server was friendly and dealt very politely with a somewhat rude customer. We will definitely be back.
