As a dancer and a teacher of Ballroom dance for 50 years, I can be very critical of how teachers impart artistic information to students. With that in mind I say that this Art Studio is an exceptional place to learn.Peggy Lynn’s knowledge of art mediums, art history and development of learning makes the time Interesting, valuable and even meditative.A good place for adults and children to learn art.

I have recently started taking art classes with Peggy Lynn after my retirement. Peggy Lynn has helped me to better understand perspective, composition and colour in her classes with her positive and encouraging teaching style. I eagerly look forward to Thursday afternoons when I can relax and enjoy my class in a fun environment.

My two daughter had the privilege of having Peggy-Lynn as their art teacher for years. They began at a very young age and continued all through their school years. The number one reason they wanted to return is Peggy-Lynn. She has a magical ability to connect with all of her students. She takes the time to listen and learn more about her students. She wants to give each one an individual experience that builds on their strengths and responds to their challenges. ?She cares about her students! My girls were involved in many extra curricular activities though the years but their art lessons were a constant. They were excited to go every week, even as teenagers! Through Peggy-Lynn's patience and personal teaching style, the girls really grew in both their confidence and artistic abilities. I have beautiful pieces of art that flank my walls and as the the girls get older, I treasure them more and more. It was a very sad time when we finally had to say good-bye but the girls cherish their moments with Peggy-lynn and remember their time together fondly. She has definitely has a place in their hearts.

My daughter recently started classes with Peggy-Lynn and we are absolutely amazed at the progress she has made in a little over two months. She has explored styles of art she has never done before, which I think pushed her out of her comfort zone and made her realize how much she is capable of doing. Peggy-Lynn teaches in such a way that the students learn new techniques but can work at their own pace, adapting the classes to each individual student in the class. It is the first class my daughter has taken where I can actually see her furthering her artistic skills. I would recommend Peggy-Lynn’s art classes to anyone!

I have been painting with Peggy Lynn in an Adult Class for the past 2 years. When I found her website I knew it was just what I was looking for. I was an intermediate painter in some respects but had no formal training. My greatest achievement to date is that I now have the knowledge base, under Peggy Lynn's expert guidance, to mix colours with confidence allowing me to paint at home at my leisure.Peggy Lynn supports us in choosing subjects to paint, encouraging us to learn new techniques and painting styles. Her depth of knowledge, talent and passion for art contributes greatly to our success as students.I feel very fortunate to have found such a positive learning environment.

Peggy Lynn has found the right balance to create a learning environment that is comfortable enough so that students are willing to take risks as we develop our skills. Peggy Lynn is highly knowledgeable of art mediums, styles and artists, all of which she puts to use specifically for each student. Small class sizes means plenty of individual attention.

Peggy is a fantastic teacher and the class is a lot of fun. I am a complete novice, however with Peggy’s guidance, I actually surprise myself. I highly recommend this class for both the learning and the enjoyment. Can’t say enough good things

Had a lovely class today, during the Covoid-19 outbreak. Peggy-Lynn was SO accommodating and assured us so very much that all was clean and germ—free! I am so glad I at least have art class to look forward to every week. Thanks, Peggy-Lynn!
