The Zone Training Waterloo

We have our kids enrolled in the learn to skate programs. Only a few lessons in and they have both learned so much. They look forward to going each week. Knowledgeable coaches, friendly staff, clean space, ample parking.

We have been going to the Waterloo location for over four yrs now. Learn to skate and learn to play programs are fantastic! Our son just completed two weeks of summer camp and came home everyday excited and full of stories. There are no words to explain the ENTIRE staff front and back. They are amazing!!!!!! Derek you have done a great job and should be proud!!!! We look forward to a new season. Thank you for giving our children some “normalcy” during this interesting time.

Signed both my kids 4 and 3 up to skating lessons here, and they have had an excellent experience.Class sizes are good, with plenty of instructors.

Absolutely worst Admin Staff esp Tatiana.I enrolled my child and paid in full. We are new to skating and I informed them my son has never been on ice. Tatiana called us and enrolled us in the class that was an advanced program which was not informed to us on the phone. I kept on telling her that my child is very new to this. There were 14 kids with 3 instructors. My son kept on crying as he did not know what to do. One of the coaches guided us on that day that there is another program that is basic learn to skate with only 4 kids and 2 instructors. We requested to be moved to that rink. The Admin Staff never contacted us. We called them a number of times and there was no response. One fine day, they picked up finally and told me there are no more spaces and that they will not be refunding. I literally had to tell them that it's not fair that nobody contacted us as we were supposed to be on priority list. The Admin person told me that whoever I spoke to earlier did not put the notes in my file and now everything was full. After much talking I was finally able to get into May 1st session.The coach was amazing - Whitney. She was supportive. It's really a shame that this place has amazing Coaches and the worst Admin Staff.My son fell sick and missed 1 class. I emailed them and called and left messages a number of times. Tatiana said that she received nothing from us. All I wanted was to see if I can get 1 extra class coz my son was really sick. But Tatiana was extremely rude and was not ready to listen to me and infact disconnected the phone. I called back again 3 times, left the message, she ignored. I was still persistent in calling and I told her that she hung up on me, to which she. Answered , I did not hung up

First skating experience for my daughter has been great. Small class sizes and enthusiastic instructors have really contributed to a positive and fun learning environment. My daughter has been excited to go and comes off the ice grinning every time (granted, we've only been a few times so far).

Our 5 yo has been taking skating lessons here for two sessions now! The instructors are great and our son is becoming more and more capable! We look forward to the upcoming hockey camps.

Good place for kids to get training of ice hockey.

Amazing training center. My son entered the learn the skate program (never skated before). The staff is incredible, knowledgeable, and friendly. I would recommend this facility to anyone!
